Both with how Kishi used to draw him and off in general, especially the way he does fur -- it looks like the bristling chin hair of a teenage kid who forgot to shave. The whole thing looks like bad furry art, the way it doesn't mesh, just a guy with a fox mask. urk.

-chainy bondage = prrt. Love naruto's pose there, with head hanging back. hotness.

-NEW SEAL TATTOO. eeee. Rikudou Sennin necklace pattern! And the one that slides down to the palm of his hand! but i think the one i'm most ee about is the comma shape under his spiral. For a very bad, bad reason.

Considering how low his spiral already went on his belly, I really want to see where the comma shape ends up. *coughs* need to write some other character exploring the pattern ohohoho.

sarolynne: Other Jess was spamming me with some idiot on chuunin who was like, "Does that mean Madara killed here? I hope she just died in childbirth, but that seems too optimistic!" ...Wait, why is that optimistic? I hope, for the plot and the depictions of women in it who are actually anything like strong, that Madara DID kill her pulling out the Kyuubi. I mean, seriously, you want to have this implication that Kushina was a badass, and then, but oh, she died in fucking childbirth! Because that's what happens to women ideally or wtf?

I 100% agree with Saro there. Dying in childbirth would have been okay if she wasn't really involved in things, a quick, cheap but believable "sucks but it happens" thing for when you want to quickly explain it all away -- but she was the previous Kyuubi jinchuuriki ! she's relevant to the plot! And she should have had such a convenient, "good dead wifey/mom" cliche "tragic" one-liner death? Shit, having the Kyuubi ripped out of her would be 110% better! Or at least have her dying in childbirth BECAUSE the birth was provoked by losing the Kyuubi so brutally and she only managed to stay alive long enough to have her kid because she refused to die just right then, or something! Fuck.

if Kishimoto fumbles it I will be so pissed. I haven't been truly interested in a naruto character in so long.
