Okay, this year's NaNo is a failure again. I'll still keep writing on the story until I at the very least reach 50k words. ... It's just gonna take a little while longer. *siiigh* I feel it's such a mess of bad plotting and the secondary characters are so underdeveloped, srsly, but I like the world and everything so I'll keep working on it.

Shizune is boring and meek and would not complement Sakura's inner fire. There's the sempai/kouhai side of the relationship that could add spice but they don't even seem to be close in that way either. They're both more interested in Tsunade than each other.

TemaTen? No idea.

3. What would be your ideal scenario for couple #3? (TemaIno)
Shika introduces them. They start bitching and snarking at each other, which ends up being so much more interesting than paying attention to the rest of the world, which *gasp* man, but it's FUN! which ends in making out. Or sparring. Or sparring and then making out. mmmh.

Since Mizukage first appeared. I mean, whoa. Hot, strong-willed women in positions of power in a world of men. Also Mizukage has men problems XDD Obviously they should start a kunoichi relationship, where they appreciate each other's ability to truly understand their situation and enjoy the verbal sparring and the companionship and solidarity ... while planning to stab each other in the back if that were to become necessary -- and both of them know it. It would be awesome.

6. What's the story with #8? What made you stop caring? (TsuSaku)
I dunno. I still enjoy the interaction, but less than when the idea of hur hur hur hands-on training was still new and shiny. .__.;

7. Which ship do you prefer--#2 or #4? (Sakura/Karin, Karui/Sakura)
I... have no idea. I've thought more about SakuKarin because Karin's been around longer and there's the foreshadowed rivalry, but I would also really, REALLY enjoy Sakura slowly proving to Karui that her first impression of crybaby!Sakura isn't all there is to it, far from it. Also, KaruiSaku isn't built around their bonds to Sasuke, it's purely about the two of them. ...Okay, probably KaruiSaku at the moment.

8. You have the power to make one ship non-existent. Choose from #10 or #12. (TsuShizu/InoHina)
Well. I go back and forth on ino/Hinata (sometimes I think it would be a fun mentorship, other times I think they have nothing in common and would bore each other) but TsuShizu just bores the fuck out of me. So, TsuShizu.

When I realized Sakura had outgrown Ino and while they would always be good friends, all the special intensity and importance placed on their bond seemed to be gone due to Sakura having much larger concerns and interests than being a rival for Ino. It made me sad for Ino. I always perceived her as the one half in love with Sakura already, but Sakura is turned outwards now and that makes me think it would be unrequited. ;__;

11. Did your waning interest in #9 kill your interest in the series? (KureHina)
Hahaha, no. XDD It was a ship that didn't last me very long.

For Kurenai to become interesting. >___> She had potential -- mysterious-sexy genjutsu user -- but she never does jack with it. The "teaching sakura about genjutsu" idea has potential but Kurenai would have to be developed A LOT.

... this is difficult! D: Probably TsuMizu, though. Sakura and karin's interaction would make me happy even if it's all haet and rivalry without the sex part, whereas TsuMizu... well. prrrt.

Anko decides she's tired of Kurenai mopping and being all "o no i be a good wife/widow wahh my life=my child nao" and she wants the teenage girl she dragged into dangerous adventures back. she reinjects some crazy in their relationship and seduces her into forgetting that she's supposed to do nothing but mourn Asuma and be proper now. In return Kurenai slowly civilizes her into being halfway domestic (kinda) and accepting The Spawn. it would take a while before she's sure anko wouldn't break its brain and make it grow up messed up, though, but that would be interesting to see.

I don't dislike it, I just never really saw it as anything but "their parents were friends and they behave like they're cousins", Shika is closer to Chouji and while they're friends we never see Ino interested in a conversation with Shikamaru -- it's more like she talks about stuff that interests her and he nods and pretends to listen. They care about each other but have no interests in common.

-I hate the fanon of Sasuke as a suave seme who would pursue someone in a totally confident way. Well I churned out 50,518 words but really, you came out ahead when it comes to writing a story.

I have all these words with no real plot, and what plot is there doesn't hold together. I resorted to a hell of a lot of filler in the first 15k and used an extensive flashback to get the last 10k. The characters held up well enough but it's rather ironic that the flashback has more plot than the main story. All I really proved is that I can bash on through absolutely hating what I am writing to meet a deadline simply because I despise feeling like a failure and all that counts for NaNo is words, not writing quality.

As for the meme, I can't recall if you got into Kuroshitsuji or not, if you did, Sebastian. If you didn't I guess I'll go for Moribito and Balsa. :)

I'm sort of in kuroshitsuji, but seeing as I only read Ciceqi's fics I really have no idea about the fanon there. Same for Seirei, I don't read fic for it so the only fanon I have is mine, and of course I'm not gonna hate on it. .__.;;

fanon I like: this is my personal fanon, I have no clue if anyone wrote anything for it -- but I like the idea that he spent his time since the shuukaku extraction training all day and night to regain even half his power -- hosting shuukaku left his body with the capacity to handle it, but the resterves are completely empty -- and learning Hard Work and how to handle being injured -- in secret with his siblings, while in the daylight he went about his business pretending to still be as strong as always so the politic maneuvering and ambushes wouldn't explode all around him. He'd have to get really proficient at intrigues and politics, mmmh. I think i'd like to see something about that. (oh, and about him getting over his reaction to being able to sleep again.)

fanon I don't like: >___> yeah, i'm gonna count the filler anime's gaara/matsuri mentorship thing as fanon. I like matsuri as a character, but the situation was just sloppy and didn't fit with the worldbuilding and also made no sense -- srsly, they have no academy or teacher system already in place? fanon I like: everything? XDD; i don't know. I like that their relationships and the ways they relate aren't identical and that they don't show love to both their lovers the same way, yet still as powerful.

fanon I don't like: "sasuke and sakura share naruto" I hate all kinds of "X and Y share Z but only tolerate each other for Z's sake" because that's not a threesome, biatch! but for Sakura to stop caring/loving/desiring Sasuke and YET accept that her beloved boyfriend shares with someone she now sees as a traitor/never been a good friend/I just don't caaare anymore ... it would come across as a "well, I don't LIKE it but I'll close my eyes on it while you go and fuck him elsewhere and this is sort of cheating on me but i'll tolerate that for you because I know you need it/him" and that's just... ffffff. hate. Also, if Sasuke wanted Naruto but not Sakura, I really think he would not share. He'd give Naruto a choice.

Oh and Sakura The Mary-Sue who is Cool Enough that Two Rivals Agree to Share Her (but no balls touching because that's gay). Just... what. Still, that's not a real OT3 either.

well yeah but I only read yours! So the only fanon I really get exposed to is yours, and I love it. So, umm.

fanon I love: ... when jet surviiiiiiiiiiives and they have a chance to try again because AUGH.

fanon I hate: when that trying again is too easy, Jet is redeemed just like that, seeing his own faults and fixing them in seconds. Noooo. There's this thing about Jet -- he's not really a good person. he wants to be, and sides of him are good, but he's also irrationally hateful, he gets obsessed by things and then no one can really change his mind, and he has this "don't you walk away from me, bitch" and "I honestly don't care if the attention I get from you is positive or negative" long-standing habit that I don't think he could get rid of easily. Also, the fire nation thing is more of a phobia at this point. He's not just gonna go "oh, there are good people in the fire nation, here's the proof that I see and accept because it's so logical and obvious, so i'll stop having a problem with my Lee being a secret firebender~" fuck no. Man, if logic worked to change Jet's mind once it's made...

fanon I like: ... I like it better if it's not really that Gokudera knows he can never have the Tenth!! like that and uses Yamamoto (though i know that can be really well written), but when Gokudera would never sully his relationship with the Tenth with dirty physical desires ANYWAY and his relationship with Yamamoto isn't really a rebound thing. Just a "I love the Tenth like life itself! But not like that." It can start as a rebound/using thing, but I don't like when it also ends that way.

fanon I don't like: the one where suddenly yamamoto is so important that Gokudera forgets about Tsuna. Not happening.

If whoever decided to put the National Writing Month in the middle of the holiday clusterfuck (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b8X7e7rUJOA) could just go ahead and die in a ditch....filled with scorpions....while lit on fire....then I'd be happy. Seriously, first attempt at a NanoWriMo, and I can say I failed dismally. I've decided to say "bother this nonsense" and just continue to work on my little project until its done and not give a flying rat's ass (mostly because having the ass of a rat that can fly would be extremely valuable to the right buyer!) about arbitrary deadlines like the end of the month.

Sad to say, every time I try to write, I get bogged down in characters. So few of them let me toss them together without miles of plot to get to that point, especially if the storyline isn't quite resolved. I'm waiting for this current chapter to wrap up, for instance, since what happens to Sakura, Naruto and Sasuke could greatly impact where and how this story goes. I think my muse was an editor in its past life. ::grumble::

A little late, but Kyuubi (let's assume he's a male demon). I am a bit conflicted, because on the one hand, I want to see Naruto kickin' with Kyuu like Bee does with his, but on the other, I kinda enjoy Kyuu tormenting and fucking with Naruto.

I would kinda love a reluctant partnership between them -- best of two worlds! Kyuubi would still be difficult and creepy, but still help when it's their life on the line. Mmmh.
