So far, their boss-lady has been tentatively named Reema Simtan, but I'm not sure she'll be from Blue's corner of Space in the end, so the names might go back on the market. Levan Dwight is her rival! And supposed subordinate. (He has freckles to disguise his evil. He might also die in a very stupid way, forcing Reema to retaliate against whoever was the cause of his death to pacify/scare off his allies in the corporation, even though she doesn't really want to. >D)
Anyway, the bodyguards/hitmen. They come as a pair and they're good friends, very professional.
... For some reason, my first visual of them was Elena and Rude of the FF7 Turks. But with a dark-haired, non-clumsy Elena. It's the uniforms + shades. XD;
The guy's name... Hmm. Maybe Àkos. Azraq is cool... Khajag would be nice but that's a tiny bit too close to Sevag, which is Blue's last name. I think I want to keep Khajag for some guy Blue knew when he was still in the ghetto anyway. >.> Tzahov for a family name, maybe, it's got a kind of "I can hurt you" sound to me. (also like he ought to have a goatee. Alright, sir, a goatee for you!) Azarang, Adar... Sound nice but too soft. Also, with Arun, I gotta be careful not to take names that sound too close, so not Adar. Kamkar... Hrrm. Bit silly? I don't know.
Ashur's cool too, for either one...

Girl names! Shani... Sounds a bit too gentle... Mandan? Zahra? Zareen? Hmm, Zareen. *ponders* Zareen Ashur? Hm. Hmm hmm hmm. Ashur's a guy name, but it could be her family name easy. People would call her that anyway...
Suggestions? Either from names in the list or names that should be in the list but I forgot them?
Àkos Tzahov and Zareen Ashur. Damn but I like my A sounds. Tzahov and Ashur. Ashur and Tzahov. HMMMMM. Okay. *puts tentative "approved for trial run" stickers on* Still, if you've got suggestions, gimmegimme, it can still change. >.>
So the girl, so far, is: Telekinetic, possibly slightly pyrokinetic (might be the same ability -- she lights things on fire by atom friction or something? XD Needs a lot of fine control... I dunno. *ponders*) independent, coolly professional and proud of it (so her cool is more of an intense "I am concentrating on kicking your ass hard" than real calm/acceptance) maybe a little sarcastic, but not to her boss. (also she wants orange eyes. Probably either genetic tweaking in her line linked to the pyro genes as an advance warning, or she got surgery done in celebration of the first time she lit something on fire with her brain.) Can't multitask very well when she's killing people with her brain.
The guy is: imposing-looking, but really rather calm and patient. (that's my Rude-impression talking, might change) A skilled telepath. The one who insisted on teamwork. They're absolutely non-sexual, but devoted to each other. I think Guy broke up with a girlfriend or several who didn't get that they didn't come first. Possibly when he wanted to visit Zareen at the hospital after she was hurt during a job -- he would feel very guilty, because Zareen needs to concentrate to move big things or burn them, and as a telepath it's his job to be aware of potential hostiles in their immediate surroundings and this one got through. Uses his telepathy like a weapon too -- he can't kill people, and destroying their mind has the potential of them latching on and dragging him down with them if they're telepathic, but he can confuse and befuddle and slow down, and then he's got a gun.
So. Dynamic so far is Zareen = bulldozer, Akos = guy who makes sure it doesn't drive into a pothole. Though they're both intelligent and they're well-trained, and they both can shoot a gun, and they have small disagreements but there's no "what X says goes, all the time," etcetera.
Hmm.
Also they're both straight. My gay/bi quota is full enough already. XD
Kinda wanted to make one or two of them dark-skinned (not very dark though, because after so long in space and on ships and immigrating here and there, what is this racial purity you speak of XD) but Blue is pasty white-sallow (granted, a lot of that is just lack of sunlight) and his moon was a bit isolated for a long while, so if a sizeable chunk of the moon's population was black to start with, he should probably be a couple of shades darker.
But then again maybe there are more black people on the planet his moon orbits, so one of the two bodyguards could come from there! Or one of their parents moved to Blue's moon... Problem being, no one really wants to move there for no reason, it's not a very nice place. ... But then again the mafias really like their pet psychics, so they might have paid some professional a high price to come over and work for them, and he'd have gotten married, and his kid would have been raised in a mafia family just the same, and that's where the evil!corporation got their psychic bodyguards -- Blue's moon/planet are reputed for producing strong psychics because over half of the starting population was one.
... or one of the two just came from elsewhere I haven't defined yet, and they were introduced to each other by the company. Blue's system probably isn't the only place where you can find psychics, the company might not want to depend too much on their mafia contacts or be wary that the bodyguards might be more faithful to the mafia than the company... and in that case there is absolutely nothing to stop me from arbitrarily deciding "you! you will be sexily bronzed."
Hrrm, this is complicated. T___T I really just want someone with dark skin and light hair because the contrast is hot. *shallow*
(I want some link between the mafia clans on Blue's moon and the big multiplanet company because then when the company is in trouble it would rebound on them somehow and then they'd get pissed at Blue and that would make plottiness. *__* Problem is, moon doesn't have a lot to give... except for its psychics. So. Here is why at least one of them has to be from over there. I wonder if they suffered any problem with conflicting loyalties; the mafias really emphasize the yakuza "do your duty to us, be faithful to us and we'll help you,

Plus way cool for Turks-esque villians. I love the dynamic between the two of them, with each other making up for their flaws (her focused power/his teamwork orientation). And the names <33333 Very hot. And nothing wrong with shallowness~! What writer doesn't want hot characters? ^~ (I vote for the girl to be dark/light! But I'm sure your charas will be hot no matter who you choose.. they could be like dark-skinned/light-haired and vice versa?) And orange eyes are coooollll! <333

Well... The internet. Googled for "country + names", asked my f-list some months ago and kept a list, surfed baby sites. Some of the names are probably wrong because i didn't check how exact they were, but I don't really care as long as it sounds nice. XD The whole color theme was just a way to limit my possibilities so I didn't waste ages and ages deciding on names.
