I was ready to go to bed 17 hours ago.
But then my dad managed to fuck up our connection, the phone AND the TV trying to fix his computer, and I had to spend the whole day sacrificing rabbits and dancing on my head while the help line people laughed maniacally in some other language (AND IN THE END WE FIXED IT ON OUR OWN ANYWAY.)
So now I have internet again, except the settings are aggravating but. I have internet again.
Of course his computer is still not fixed.
And of course if he'd left well enough alone maybe I could have fixed it at the very start, since there was a chance it was either an area-wide problem or those stupid microsoft updates. But hahahaha no. *gnashes teeth* now i'm stumped beyond belief and have no idea where to start, and of course we made things worse trying everything in the blind hope that somehow we'd magically find the good combination of clicks and wailings to the computer gods.
but now we're back where we started, and all is well again. sleep. goddamn sleep. i want to sleeeeeeep for three days.
if he touches that modem again... patricide is starting to look tempting. (*pretends she's not hearing suspicious "what does that program do?" muttering from parents' room* >.>)
edit: ohhhyay Julien managed to fix it while I was asleep. Figures he'd start being useful just as he moves out. ... XDDDD kidding kidding. d'aww my brother, I'll miss him rly. And with the other one in the army, the apartment is starting to feel quite empty. u.u;
