XDD It's fine. You could even vote again with ros' journal if you wanted to. I figure there are going to be enough clickies that it doesn't matter if there are a few repeats. Lurkers always come out of the woodwork for ticky boxes. u.u
*is unable to resist the lure of the tickybox, personally* .__.
I was very tempted to click everything. Don't eat me D: Unless it's in a good way.
Honestly, I think you should just on things as it comes to you. You get inspiration for Mermaids, write it. Crossed Wires? Write it. It's worked pretty well so far. The important thing is that you write :)
Well, since you resisted the temptation... *nibbles* >.>
Yeah, but... I dunno. It's not all bad to not have a choice in what to write, because then i don't waste three hours deciding. But... then there's the writer's block, and yeah, that sucks too. XD; Argh, i'll see. I still need a system of sorts, just not sure what...
I think you should quit school if you're going, stop working if you are, shun your family and real life friends, and lock yourself in your room with coffee and a laptop until you finish Teamwork 8 and at least 27 side stories.
Personally, I think you should just write whatever strikes your fancy, but I do have an inner fangirl that screams desperatly for Crossed Wires. And since I'm a total sucker for sci-fi and mermaids... >_>
Still, most everything you work on is filled with win for me, so, again, just sit down and write and I'll be happy ^_^
I have no way to answer that first question, I'm afraid. See, a writer is not a single cog you can put on an assembly line and expect it to act like every other cog on said line. A writer is a unique persona that will write in his or her own way and time. Some writers thrive when they work like bees, running from story to another adding little pieces to it when they get inspired. Others need to stay with a single story until its done, because if they leave it they will never return. You, Asuka, must know yourself. Know which strategy will work best for you and follow it. Know what tricks your mind is going to make sound reasonable to you, but ultimately are just excuses not to do anything. We all make them from time to time. Most importantly, know when you NEED to rest from a story before you get burned out. None can find your path but you.
And if you detect an overblown sense of melodrama that you're either rolling your eyes at or laughing at directly, then I feel I've done my job well.
I voted Crossed Wires and Teamwork, because they are sexy. But you should write whatever you feel like writing, really. Like me who has too many ideas in her head and like, eight halfway written fics. >o<
I support whatever decision you make though, I like to read your works. ^__^
I cant wait to see what you come out with next. ^__^ I enjoy everything you write, but the appeal and enjoyment for me really lies in the differences between them, if that makes sense outside my head. ^^;;; That and you have your characters down to an art. Cant wait to read more from you.
btw, this is Candelabra from ff.net, who has gotten a livejournal and now friended you (I lurked here long enough before I got an LJ! :D). I am delurked! ... ish.
(okay, I know I commented on here before, though ... as an anonymous ... whatever)
