*sigh* I seem to have a fairly low success rate with these memes, so be forewarned that there's a good chance I'll flake out and not write your fic, even if it does inspire me. My bunnies are apparently short-lived.

Give me one of my own stories, and a timestamp sometime in the future after the end of the story, or sometime in the past before the story started, and I'll write you at least a hundred words of what happened then, whether it's five minutes before the story started or ten years into the future.

Will write:
any pre-existing Naruto fics, original fics.
Won't write:
Holiday fics -- christmas, halloween, valentines, birthdays... anything that leads to Teamwork or Cyborgfic spoilers, anything that's just sex, anything GW.
will most likely not write about: (you can suggest anyway, just in case, but don't count on it):
Gaara, Kankuro, the jounin teachers, the adult supporting cast.

Well he does look an awful lot like an Uchiha, mistaken identity scenario? Depending on which surviving real Uchiha finds him that might be a very short appearance in the story.

XD;;; Well, he's in the backstory, and he does things in the background, but I'm not sure he'll appear in the main plot actually. .__.

LMAO. Yes, i'm afraid it might be. Though Itachi would know if he's not an Uchiha, because he hacked the database. >_>;;;

Also, umm, in CW there ARE other surviving Uchihas, but their ability to survive depends on how well they pretend to be human, and Sai... Well, even as a human, he seems to have exceedingly patchy notions of some basic human emotions, so I'm afraid he wouldn't pass the Itachi Litmus Test. >_>;;;

As for Gaara, I still don't know if we'll actually SEE him onscreen in an important capacity, but he's going to be mentioned. He's part of Naruto's backstory. But his subplot would take all the attention away from Sasuke's if I let it... I have to think on it more. ~.~ Maybe as a sequel, if I ever finish the first one.

Somehow the mental image of Itachi finding Sai to be something like a bizarre looking bug (What is that?) because of his semi-Uchiha-ness is amusing.

I'm easy to please as Gaara fangirls go, just a mention of him is likely to get a squee. :)

Tidbit I added to chapter 2 for padding/hinting...

It's complicated to read the newspapers with one hand, and without disturbing Naruto, who is currently fine-tuning his temporary arm. But he's not allowed to use his Ethernet connection as long as the program to keep his army subroutines down is working; his subroutines might auto-update, so paper it is.

Tensions with other continents -- Noramerica is trying to pressure Eurasia into accepting Switzerland's secession. Eurasia is sneering back about Noramerica needing to take care of their own frontiers, because the way it's going, in another ten years even the North pole will belong to Suramérica.

Corrupted officials -- only a scandal because of the toddler prostitution angle; nowadays it's about as common to find a politician who never accepts bedroom bribes as it is to find a unicorn that doesn't come from a genetic lab.

Gang wars -- a minute of silence today in the next town over to pay respect to Song Jianguo, leader of the Song family and Protector of the City, fallen in an ambush. As far as Triads go, he wasn't too bad, Sasuke guesses.

Ordinary crimes -- Spontaneous Deaths... Or Murders? Autopsies Indicate Beach Deaths Related. Huh. Four deaths so far; no outward, visible sign of violence. Sasuke would suspect some kind of poisonous animal, or perhaps a strange new virus, but if he trusts the journalist, the leaked autopsies hint at some mysterious kind of foul play. Bah. Too much sensationalism, not enough info.

The Magic Touch -- Medium Identifies Tsar Ivan The Great Inkpot!

"Don't you have anything but tabloids with delusions of grandeur in the area?" he grouches, dumping the newspaper on the table.

Naruto snickers. Sasuke falls silent, but Naruto doesn't try to fill the void. Sasuke glares at him for it, but he doesn't notice, bent over Sasuke's shoulder.

Damn it, he's bored. He never realized how often he casually accesses his Ethernet connection until he wasn't allowed to do it anymore.
