Okay so my internet failed yesterday (sorry saro ;_;) and it wasn't supposed to work again until tuesday when a guy would come to change a -- thingamajig. Whatever. But right now it works I AM NOT COMPLAINING. I don't know how long this will work for so er yeah, if you don't see me until tuesday that's why.

Not precisely because I don't think he'd go really low to kill his brother, but I DON'T think he'll let someone else do it, and I don't expect him to be selling his soul to a devil who can't necessarily come through on his side of the bargain. If Orochimaru doesn't have more to give him? Well, he's cut ties before with people he cared at a lot fucking more than Orochimaru.

Ehh, I haven't paid attention to the rest of the fandom's opinion. I know Saro and I have been faithful from the start. XD ♥ ♥ ♥

Maybe they feel less silly for liking him now that they can point to "hey look, I'm not imagining it, he really isn't evil". Who knows. XD

Yesyesyesyesyesyesyes! I was all "Whee Sasuke" and then I was more "WTF Oro's curse seal?" Sasuke is really dense for a genius sometimes. Either that or he has absolutely no strategic skills to speak of. Naruto would beat him in shoji. Shikamaru would skin him, spit him, roast him, and serve him on a platter with an apple in his mouth.

But obviously he's redeemable. I mean, wasn't it obvious? He didn't kill Naruto, people, even when the boy was lying unconscious at his feet. Mangekyou was one slit with a kunai away and he didn't take it. *thinks they're dumb*

In other news: Yuck with the internet! My school's connection is really temperamental, so I feel your pain. I regularly have heart attacks when I go online to get to my e-mail and print something out and can't.

Sasuke is really dense for a genius sometimes. Either that or he has absolutely no strategic skills to speak of.

I have a feeling Orochimaru wanted Sasuke to feel nice and comfortable (because Sasuke reacts badly to authority and would have balked if Oro reminded him who's the bitch here) and so he never used the "control" part of the seal. But I do think I vaguely remember him using it on Anko... didn't he? *forgetful* Even if he can't control Sasuke through it, it's kind of... not logical, to use a power Orochimaru gave against him. I'd seriously think that what he gave he can take away.

... Maybe he can't take it away again, but in that case he has to know all the weak points, anyway. Silly Sasuke, way too sure of himself here. XD;

I'm kinda surprised at people who go "OMG THATS WAY TOO CONVENIENT" about Orochimaru being sick. He, uh. WAS SICK BEFORE. And the only time we've seen him since then was when Naruto fought him, of COURSE he would have hidden that he was in pain/uncomfortable/not at his very best there. D: It's not like we follow him every day of the week, so how would we know how many times he's been bedridden with ouchies since? Bah.

Man, didn't the fight with Naruto actually aggravate the rejection process?

Nah, you're right--during the fight Orochimaru noted to himself that the body was almost at its limit. I think it was somewhere around the point when he'd gotten torn in half and turned out to be made of snakes (unless that's just the image that stuck with me).

A quick look through the backlog reveals it to be true. Chapter 296, page 9.

Yes! Sasuke! ♥ I was going 'Oh god Sasuke use your brains a little and not use the seal against Oro, he made it ;_;'.

So... I take it you are having bad feelings like whoa as well?

Sasuke may be a little bit dense as to use the seal against Orochimaru, it's creator, but I can't believe he hasn't thought on it somewhat and the possibility it could backfire.

I mean, during the chuunin exam, he fully recognized that the seal itself was hard to control; and even at the Vally of End when he developed the third tomoe in his sharingan, his first thought was that he could save chakra and not rely too heavly on Orochimaru's little "gift".

He knows that if he uses the seal too much he'll lose his body. So, I think there has to be more to it. He's had over two years to try and figure out exactly how the seal works and how Orochimaru works too..

He probably realized that even before he went to Orochimaru he'd have to plan his escape, 'cause Sasuke wants to be conscious of killing Itachi. At least that's what I thought. I don't know. Maybe him and Kabuto are in kahoots too! XDDDD Ahaha never.

Ah, aye, the showdown between Orochimaru the Sannin and Mr. "Avenger" Uchiha Sasuke. I didn't quite expect it...but I was happy to see it happening.
