(naruto manga) tiny fangirl squee

So if you go to http://mangahelpers.com , they have the raw chapter 333 up, and a translation in progress by hisshouburaiken.

This is not a detailed analysis, I don't even talk about the chapter as a whole. It's an alright chapter. I just -- this line. It. it. It just...

Yamato: Your wind-element jutsu will lose against Sasuke's fire-element jutsu. The only way to beat fire is water.

Naruto: How come?
Yamato: Wind feeds a fire and makes it stronger. Water puts it out. So if you countered Sasuke's fire jutsu with a wind jutsu of the same strength, you'd only make the fire stronger.

Page 13:
Yamato: But take another look at the wind element. It may be weak against fire, but it's strong against lightning.

Yamato: Meaning that your new jutsu can overcome Sasuke's ultimate lightning jutsu... your new jutsu can beat Chidori!

Naruto: So I've got the right affinity for Sasuke... (... huhuhuhu. *totally yanks this out of context* huhuhuhuhuhuhuhu.)

Yamato: Right...only wind can beat lightning.

Naruto: No, I mean...

Page 14:
Naruto: The only thing that can save a fire from dying and give it even more power is wind.

Sometimes their entire relationship reminds of the line from Buffy, when Spike shows up back in Sunnydale all despondant because Dru has dumped him. He therefore must cause trouble for Buffy, but by the end, he realizes something like, "I've been going about this all wrong-headed. I want Dru back, I just have to be the man I was. The man she loved. I'm gonna do what I shoulda done in the first place. I'll find her, wherever she is... and I'll tie her up and torture her until she loves me again."
