fic writing woes

It seems I've hit another of my OH NOEZ I NEED TO WRITE NOWNOWNOW BUT NOTHING TALKS TO ME DDDD: periods.

*flops*

1) the second half of the Jiraiya scene I wanted to slip in feels like it. doesn't. work. And it's not a matter of prose, it's a matter of WTF how likely is that, really, and I can't TELL and it's seriously bugging me. I hate having to even think about scrapping whole scenes and starting all over again. T_T

2) I want to write cyborgness, but while I know what happens in the general plot, as far as "what happens just next" is concerned? not a clue. Last I wrote was Naruto giving Sasuke the, er, special package. Now what?

3) Sakura's first time thing is toeing the line between easy fluff and brainless pointlessness. Nngh. Shall let it rest a bit before I touch it again.

4) Ofic... Oh, I'm going to go SO far when my own main characters bore me to death. I want to get to the rest of the cast already. They're what makes it fun. ;_;

5) THE PR0N MUSES STILL HATE ME. TT_TT

6) starting something new is not an option.

I'm sorry that the muses are being mean to you. Have you tried just randomly writing a drabble or something? Just for the sake of writing and not caring about it being good or bad.

My writing teacher in high school recomended opening the dictionary to a random page and putting your finger down on a word and using that as a prompt. It might help. ^^;

Yeah, been trying the drabble thing already. Thanks for the advice, hon, but once I was done with them, the rest didn't start flowing along, sadly. XD Blargh, i'm so difficult. *whines*

i had kinda meant something that had nothing at all to do with anything else you'd been writing. No connection at all and no intention to be anthing larger or ever connect with something else. it might be the limits of the universes you are existing in right now that are causing a problem with continuing. writing for writing's sake... not the sake of a theme or even a story.

I don't like starting new fics at random, i always end up abandoning them and that just piles up. i got a bazilion abandoned ideas in my computer with just one chapter or two written. can't write without a goal in mind, it bugs me.

nuh, not a bother, i'm just cranky and it's five thirty am and i can't sleep. x_x think i'll go to bed now. thanks love ^^

Cyborg stuff: What about Neji? or Itachi? I think some good ideas could spawn from this...how about if Naruto finally meets Itachi?

Its a shame that its from Sasuke's POV cause Naruto could have a little dream about how he could help Sasuke use his new *part*....sorry just trying to help the pr0n flow ^^

Maybe Sasuke could make a checklist of the advantages and disadvantages of his new hardware upgrade ^_^

Neji and Itachi don't have anything going on right now that needs adressing, and the rest of the time they have no reason to meet. And the colliding of the two plotlines is a rather important event, so, nope, not pushing it forward just to fill in the holes. :p

There... kind of is. Sort of. XD

The problem with this fic is that i need plot, not another filler scene of random fluff. It's an action/adventure/intrigue fic, not a romance, and I've already wasted a chapter on naughty cuteness.

I draw when my writing muses don't love me, and vice versa. Ooh, or maybe try doing something related to neither? Make some cupckaes or somesuch? Baking soothes the worst of blocks!

Go read other people's fics that you really enjoy and ponder what you liek about them?
