Yesterday, I deleted all of Garou's 37 chapters except for the first and the last, in an attempt to cut down on whining. I left them up on my site, and left instructions about that in the fic itself, along with a notice of what I had done and why.

Today I have finally received my 666th review for Garou on FFnet.

Well it's pretty obvious that that one just saw the listing (removing the chapters probably put it back at the top) with the chapter count and review and decided to comment without actually reading anything.

Whenever I feel masochistic I generally check reviews of joisbishmyoga's stuff but apparently I should be checking yours when I have the burning need to head!desk.

Well, most of them are pretty nice, even if by the end I was in a state of mind that meant I wasn't able to properly apreciate them because every reminder that Garou even existed grated on my nerves. But man, there are a few... rrrgh.

No, there's only a way to not be emailed about them anymore, but I don't know if it works on specific stories or if it's general. Besides, I'd rather know when people say something. *sigh*

Does he think you're getting anything at all out of writing these things other than the pleasure of doing so? If you don't have fun writing things, why on earth would you continue working on them? That's... utterly bizarre, actually.

I mean, I love to read your stories, and i'm really glad you enjoy writing them and are cool with sharing them with people (Cause a lot of authors who just do it as a hobby choose not to share, but I mean... damn. Just really bizarre, kid.

I understand being annoyed when someone starts a wildly popular and interesting fic and then just abandons it, but dude -- AT LEAST CHECK THE FUCKING DATES IF YOU CANT BE BOTHERED TO READ THE AUTHOR NOTES OR CHECK WHAT CHAPTER THE REVIEWS ARE FOR.

I got scared for a second when you said you had removed it so I had to go make sure I still had it all saved. I hope you don't mind that I've saved it all to my desktop. I just loved it too much to have to get online whenever I wanted to read it.

I can't believe that person didn't bother realizing that a two chapter story wouldn't have 666 reviews, especially if she'd bothered to even read at least your author's notes. Incidently, I love that she was your 666th reviewer. It's funny.

I have loved your writing for a long time. I usually go to your website to reread; I'm so happy you post in both languages. I am sure there are many of us out there who appreciate you... and try not to beg for things! Garou was great fun, thank you. Thank you even more for all your beautifully portrayed Naruto/Sasuke/Sakura threesomes; I think only a Frenchwoman could have done such a brilliant job, while keeping everyone in character! Je me demandais aussi alors j'ai posé la question hier sur fanficrants. Apparemment non seulement ça garde les reviews, mais si tu avais déjà laissé quelque chose pour un chapitre et qu'il est remplacé tu peux pas reviewer encore une fois.

Je sais pas si je dois penser que c'est bien vu de la part d'ffnet ou si c'est plutot un bug dans leur systeme parce que c'est qd même pas logique de pouvoir lire des reviews laissées à un chapitre qui n'existe pas/plus... ^^;
mais c'est tjs bon à savoir... (d'un autre coté moi je fais quasiment que des one shots alors la question se pose pas trop mais bref...)

et pour grouper les rép aux comm : nan, nan, vais aller sauvegarder moi même, lol ; parce qu'en me mettant à ta place, je sais qu'une fois saoulée je suis *bien* saoulée et je veux plus en entendre parler, donc... :p *d'ailleurs, va aller sauvegarder maintenant parce que j'ai que ça à faire et que comme ça ce sera fait une bonne fois pour toute !*

Franchement j'aime mieux comme ça, parce que si un auteur fait une énorme connerie et se fait enfoncer, c'est soit effacer le fic entier, soit continuer tout en gardant la trace de ce qui s'est passé.

J'aimerais pas que des gens soient capable d'effacer tout sentiment négatif juste en enlevant le chapitre, ca serait trop facile. C'est mieux de laisser les mauvaises reviews et de laisser les gens décider par eux-mêmes ce qu'ils en pensent, parce que franchement sinon on aurait des centaines de petits cons qui effacent leur dernier chapitre à la seconde où quelqu'un leur fait une critique. Et après ils le reposteraient, projetant leur fic au sommet de la liste encore une fois... rrgh.

C'est vrai que vu comme ça... Depuis que je suis passée du côté fics originales de la force, je crois que je me suis vraiment détachée de tout ça ; j'aime recevoir des reviews, c'est sûr, mais... pff... je trapine plus trop sur les sites de fics (fanfic et même ori) donc finalement, tout ça... pfff, quoi. lol.
