Still stuck on Teamwork, it's too hot in my bedroom to think that much anyway. Can't write anything, woe, and I can't turn on the light without being swarmed by mosquitos, so no drawing either. Woe.

So. I declare this a hang-out post. Suggestions~

-Meme time! Ask a question to one of my characters (OCs too -- and plz tell me which fanfic XD) and the character shall reply. Of course I'm gonna be an evil tease about anything potentially spoilerific as to the plot, but anything else should be fair game.

Yondy~! ♥ How do you feel about Naruto's Kyuubi-influenced sexuality (you know, everyone's his bitch)?

hmmm... I never go much for a TRUE OTP, but I always find myself going back to Touya and Yuki from Card Captor Sakura (even did the

ship_manifesto for it. It's probably because they're one of the most functional canon shonen ai relationships I've ever seen.

Though if you want Naruto, I'm firmly in the SasuNaru camp, simple because of the parallels between them. I'm a sucker for rival slash, and the power dynamic between the two is complex and can be interpreted.

My pet peeve is myself, actually. I hate it when I typo, and I admit that I'm less than graceful when it's pointed out.

Another fandom pet peeve has to be the dominance of oneshots and drabbles. I miss the older fandoms, where stories actually contained more than a simple idea - they contained a lot of plot.

He claims that his english isn't that good(he's in Sweden, so I gave him that) but for CRIMINY'S SAKE. Punctuation is freaking universal. UARGH and I hate him so very very much. There's other reasons, too, but that takes too long.

I do have one question about your Teamwork fi. Didn't Sakura train with Tsunade and Sasuke train with Orochimaru? I assume you excluded that, but I would like to know why if it's not too much trouble.

Crack pairing would have to be KakaItaSasu thanks to videogame induced insanity.

...well maybe Iruka has some family left... but probably not a lot, and he looks more openly attached to Naruto than Kakashi is to the three of them anyway. (and even then, only because kakashi is sneaky like that. XD)

no, they didn't. Teamwork assumes that Naruto managed to win against Sasuke at the Valley of the End. It's mentioned quickly in a few places in the main fic, and a little more detailed in "Progression", which is a series of ficlets about Naruto between the Valley of the End and the start of Teamwork. Sasuke never managed to leave Konoha, Orochimaru was killed a few months later, and Sakura never had any reason to push aside her lack of confidence and seek out Tsunade. She has an internship at the hospital and Shizune, Tsunade's assistant, gave her and a half-dozen of other people lessons for a few months, but before Teamwork started, Sakura had never really talked with Tsunade one-on-one.

I am eventually going to mention what exactly went differently in the fight between Naruto and Sasuke, but since that's spoiler, i'm not going to say what. :D But yeah, I know exactly when and how it diverged.

- Teamwork Naruto, Sakura and Sasuke: OMG WHY DON'T YOU HAVE SEX (AGAIN) ALREADY. YOU'RE KILLING ME.

- Uhh, my favorite OTP(3) is NaruSasuSaku. They work so well together and not at all apart and asf;djasjfs I LOVE THEM. They've got so much angst and so many layers and ugh, they belong together. <3 I'm pretty sure I can't say anything about this threesome you don't know already, but there you go. I have other pairings/threesomes I love in other fandoms, but I can generally be persuaded into other pairings with good writing and an open mind. I'm never really comfortable reading about anyone from Team 7 with someone not in Team 7.

Favorite crack pairing? Homan. Ichigo/Ishida from Bleach (or ANYONE/Ishida from Bleach, because that boy needs to get his ass topped good), mostly because they're both socially inept and bitchy and one of the first porny things I read for that fandom was an utterly hilarious fic about the two of them. Good stuff.

- Pet peeve: hooobaby, I've got a lot. Basically, in fanfics, OOC-ness. I don't care that you're writing about romance, some characters absolutely would not ever call anyone "love" or "pet," especially not their male rival with whom they fight on a regular basis. That sort of thing makes me want to find the author and puke on their head. >:(

- THE ONLY TEAM SEVEN FICS I REALLY READ ARE YOURS. D: DO YOU WANT LINKS TO YOUR OWN STUFF?

Why do I like it? Oh, many reasons. But I'm not going to list them because it's going to be completely pathetic and tl;dr and I don't even know if you know the characters. XDD

I still don't know how I ended up obsessed with a m/m pairing where one of the guys ends up being a freaking girl in canon. *headdesk*

Oneshots can be good. Sometimes it's better to concentrate on one idea rather than drown it under a hundred of subplots and stuff. But drabbles... Ahh, drabbles, perfect for the lazy mind. XD either they're good and you're all "wahh now i have a mental picture and i'm hungry for mooooore and there isn't more" or they're not good and you're wondering why they wasted the space. XD

Tsunade isn't mentioning anything related to the romantic side of things because she's 1) not very close to Sakura, and 2) more or less waiting for them to fail. u_u;;;

Oh yeah, trailing off into nothing is a great effect, if it's used consciously as an actual effect, not as the standard "here's the end of the sentence" thinger. Urgh. ( XD other reasons, eh?)

2. Only one OTP? Um... ~~Gon/Killua~~ ~~Touya/Yukito-Yue~~ ~~Yami/Yugi~~... okay, without smut, it's Kuwabara/Yukina. They're just too cute for anything except a massive clan of earnest little human/Koorime sprogs in the future. But I couldn't handle reading pr0n with Yukina in it, so with smut, Hotohori/Nuriko. If I could ever FIND any. T_T Favorite crackpairing, GaaLee, hands-down. Because Maldoror is a goddess. And if anybody could make Gaara happy on an emotional level rather than merely an orgasmic one, it would be The Positive-Adjective-Laden, Shoujo-Effect-Aura'd, "Fear" Is Not In My Vocabulary, "Giving Up" Isn't In The Same Solar System As My Vocabulary, Mini-Green/Blue-Beast of Konoha.

3. Pet peeve. "Teehee, fiction doesn't need logic! What's plausibility?" This rather handily covers poor plotting, character bashing, love at first sight romance, fell through a plothole crossovers, bad characterization, blatant ignorance of canon, and a whole slew of other crimes against literature.

4. Er, sorry, most everything I find is through your favs anyway. When it's not yours in the first place.

Basically: they're waiting for the perfect ideal moment instead of just going with the flow. XD Also hiding behind issues such as "sakura isn't here enough" and "Sakura is tired" and "too busy" and stuff. They're just waiting to have an actual relationship; first time was really only casual sex, not I-love-you sex. Second time should be I-love-you sex. Thus, it waits. XD
