I want to get better at iconing. Hrrm. Alas, I lack inspiration. But I'm way too lazy to join a community. XD

SO.

Team Seven iconses! Give me a theme and/or a few words to put on it (i don't animate icons so it better be a short sentence, alrite) and I shall try to make it.

Yeah, try. 'cause I suck.

Plz only two requests per person, and I might end up only doing one of them because I'm evil like that.

You don't have to use the icons you request, because it's mostly for me to get better at making them anyway. XD but if you want to use it, you have to tell me if you mind sharing it with other people or not. Else I'll put em up as up for grabs. :p

Ooh, that's nice. What's it from? Your art? It doesn't look official. And go ahead and share it; it's a nice icon but I'm not sure where I'd fit it in my own. ^^;

haha, no, it's from an artbook. they kind of re-drew some moments of the series for the big illustrations. (so, nothing really new, just copies. oh well.)

XD this is my artsiest icon ever. Tiny text, tons of brushes -- i'm not sure it's even possible to see what's going on at first glance, or even at second. *snerk* Also, i'm pretty sure I didn't really interpret the text as it was meant, but bah!! it will make people meditate on it. XD

I'm torn at the moment. It looks so wonderful the way it is now with the darker elements gravitating to the corners, the rule of thirds in action, and the attention drawn between the three figures and then to the sun.

At the same time, this has spoiled my imagination with Teh Pretty and made it greedy. I'm curious to see if a line of lyrics will ruin or add to the emotion and balance in this icon. The picture really reminds me of Toward the Sun, a song by Thirst. Is there a chance that lyrics could be inserted at the very top in light (dark-outlined) or dark brown script that read "if only I had you" or "point me..."? I know, I know, I always end up asking for the impossible. :op If it's not cooperating (it may just be too much), this icon is definitely perfect the way that it is!

And to share some context of where I'm coming from, I would give you a link to the song lyrics instead of spamming your lj with them, but the band has unfortunately dissolved and the lead singer is now working on a solo career. As a result, the old, copy-written stuff for the band is no longer available online. I've typed out the lyrics below. They're sung by a male singer and supported with a piano, drums, bass, and guitars. I never made a connection between this song and T7 until I saw this icon, and it suddenly jumped out at me.

Ooh, very nice job! I've taken both the one without text and the text icon without lines. As far as sharing goes, the beautiful base is up for grabs, but I think the ones with lyrics have a more personal meaning. I'll be selfish and ask that these two not be shared for now.
