naruto movie...

So yeah, the second Naruto movie has been subtitled and is now up on Bittorrent.

Only 11 hours to go, for the dubious pleasure of seeing glorified filler about Naruto, Sakura and Shikamaru. Oh, and Gaara. =__=

I like Shikamaru and Gaara well enough, but.

Oh! and apparently the third movie is going to be about Naruto, Sakura, Lee, and a circus. I can't wait. u.u;

NONONONONO IT'S NOT NARUTO, SAKURA, AND (BLEEP), IT'S NARUTO, SAKURA AND SASUKE. SASUKE. SASUKE. UARGH. Why must they take him away even in MOVIES, which by definition aren't in the anime continuity, whyyyyyyy. TT__TT Betcha they don't even MENTION him. Not that he matters to the plot of the movie, right. T_T

... nah, kidding, I liked the Snow Princess movie even if I was wondering how the HELL the connection between kakashi and Yukie worked. At least they didn't harp on it, so I could ignore the plothole, and it provided awesome Sakura kickassery, plus a great Sakura/Sasuke tandem fighting scene. This is how she should fit in the team in canon, damn it. She tells her boys how to do stuff and they do it. And the little bomb things? Neeeat, and a great way to get around her lack of chakra.

I just hope this movie will have redeeming qualities too... Oh well, it can't be worse than filler, if only because it's gonna be pretty.

Bzuh? The second movie has sakura's outfit exactly the same as canon, from the pic I saw. If you saw third movie screencaps, I'm gonna ask you to share. *^^*

Heh, the Snow Princess sucked mightily on some points, but it was so pretty that I forgave it. Tough haha Sasuke nobly sacrificing himself to let Naruto be the hero of the day ahahaNO. XD

If there's Lee, then it's the third movie, which either just came out in theathers in japan, or will come out soonish. The one i'm downloading is the second movie, and it has Shika and Gaara instead.

Yah, I liked the Snow Princess movie too... mainly because I didn't expect it to be very good and it exceeded my expectations. And YA Sakura was competent YAYZ. Unfortunately the version I have doesn't include the sports festival short with Naruto sticking a stick up his ass... WOE.

Is it alright to cringe at the Western knight in the posters? I am looking forward to the movie, but other than Miyazaki most anime films are not as good as the source material.

Praying for Shikamaru to kick some intellectual butt.
