And to celebrate this pic, guess what the Asuka got? yes, that's right, people. A new bunny.
People get the flu. I get the bunnies. x_x
It was the last time, Naruto swore, that he would ever, ever let Kyuubi try a Henge. Or, well, anything pertaining to ninjutsu. The fox might have a huge amount of chakra, but that didn't mean that he knew how to mold it like a human did; it should have been a bit obvious, really, seeing as foxes didn't have hands to shape seals with in the first place. But somehow, he'd assumed that the stupid demon-fox had observed enough about the way Naruto was doing it.
Yeah right; fat chance.
/Like I have nothing better to do than watching you/ came the snide reply.
'But you DON'T have anything better to do,' Naruto snipped back as he tried once again to get up -- and fell on his ass.
"OW."
Or, well, something that felt like it should have been his ass, but not really. It was hard to explain how that felt.
It still hurt like a sonofabitch.
/And you call yourself a ninja. No sense of balance./
Naruto growled and carefully rolled on his hands and knees, wincing as he leaned on the tip of a wavy appendage.
"Yeah, well, if you think I'm used to have these huge... wavy... fluffy THINGS attached to my ass-- ohh FUCK!"
The Kyuubi had retracted far enough not to share his physical sensations; Naruto reeled him back in, snarling, and shoved the pain at him.
Stupid fox barely showed a bit of fang in annoyance.
/That hurts? Weak./
"I'm not used to having my fucking ass hurt so fucking much --"
"What are you talking about?" Sasuke asked as he stepped around the corner. "You haven't deigned to bottom in..."
Sasuke paused, stared at his boyfriend, still kneeling on the ground, then a little higher behind him. And blinked.
Uchiha Sasuke didn't gape.
"... weeks," he finished, his voice barely wavering. "What the hell is that?"
"Uh, you see -- Sasuke NO, DON'T OWW OWW OWW, MOTHERFUCKING SON OF A FLEA-INFESTED BITCH--"
Sasuke blinked again. And gave a considering look at the furry appendage he still held in his strong hands.
"Pull again and I'll bite your balls off."
Snorting in contempt, Sasuke gave him a challenging, haughty look, but after a few seconds, mercifully let go. Using muscles he hadn't had just a half-hour ago and that he wasn't even sure how to command, Naruto whipped the tail behind his back.
Of course, he promptly lost his balance again. And fell on his ass.
This time, he only whimpered, but that was really only because Sasuke was there to witness it.
"What happened?"
Naruto grumbled under his breath, petting his abused tail gingerly. "... Stupid fox did something stupid with a Henge and I'm never letting him try ninjutsu or genjutsu ever, ever again."
Sasuke stared in silence, taking in the mass of long, furry tails curling and waving and squirming behind Naruto's back. Naruto sulkily glared up at him. The tail he was holding was curling and wagging in his lap like a cat's tail a few seconds before she whips around and scratches your face off for not letting go faster. It didn't seem to be under Naruto's conscious control.
Sasuke tried counting them, but they were just too fuzzy; he could only tell where one ended and another began when it moved away from the rest, only to lose itself in the mass of moving fur again. Seeing the length and width of these things, though, and -- well, just guessing, really, but he would have bet for nine.
Nine fiery orange tails, of varying lengths -- ranging from an arm's length to as long as Sasuke was tall -- waving and weaving together in a hypnotic dance behind his partner's ass.
And if that wasn't enough, there were also the other furry appendages. Curiously, he watched, wondering how long Naruto was going to need to notice.
"A Henge, you said. You let Kyuubi no Youko attempt a Henge. Why exactly did it even remotely seem like a good idea?"
Naruto fidgeted. "Uh. He was bored. And I was bored. And now we know that even if he can't reach directly, I can let him control the way I mold and stuff, and I wondered if he could shape hand seals, and here we are."
"What happened?"
"I don't have a clue. I was just... being passive, you know? Letting him drive. And then -- poof! I can't stay on my feet any longer because there's like six tons of fur attached to my backside."
"That might also be because of your feet," Sasuke pointed out, expressionless.
Naruto blinked, then stared at his sandals.
The toes that pointed out of them were too big, too long, and sported fur and long, thick claws. Sasuke didn't doubt that they were padded as well. To check, he grabbed Naruto's foot, pulling the sandal off -- pretending not to notice when Naruto lost his balance and fell on his back with a yelp -- and yes, he'd been right. He couldn't help but chuckle. Naruto's foot looked more like a paw than like a foot right now, complete with cute, soft pink pads. He poked one to test and was rewarded with a yip and a bout of mad squirming.
"And what had he been trying for?"
"Uhh, well, his fox shape, I guess."
Sasuke's eyelid twitched. "The one with four paws and huge jaws that rampaged through the village a few years ago? And then I assume you were going to let him frolic a little?"
Naruto winced. "Uh. Yeah. But with the mass conservation thing, he would have been shoulder-high at most... That wasn't dangerous."
"Right. Because a feral, shoulder-high predator isn't a cause for some worry." Sasuke was quite amused. You could always count on Naruto to entertain. "Especially not one that looks like a pocket-sized Kyuubi no Youko."
Naruto winced and flattened his ears back as if that could dampen the offended growl from inside him.
"Yeah, yeah, very funny. But now I'm stuck."
Sasuke blinked. "... seriously?"
"Yes."
"...you're a moron."
"I love you too, fucker," Naruto growled back as he tried to get up, holding onto the side of the house.

fanfic is so entertaining and intriguing; my, you do get a lot of plot bunnies. o_o Teamwork universe is always good though; can't wait to see Sakura make her appearance in this fic.

Uh, you know, when using an icon someone else made, the polite thing to do is credit them in the keywords. XP Also, while the narusasu kissing icon is free for the taking, i don't remember offering the 1+2+5 one (though maybe i just forget that i did). Also, I know people probably ask you this all the time, but where does your default icon come from? I would really, really like to see more of it if it's part of a larger picture-- it's had me drooling for a while.
