I have a shiny new computer!! Well, just the tower, really, seeing as the old screen is still working just fine. The new computer was one of the cheapest comps I found, but it's new and thus presumably not as quirky as my old one, and I'm going from 8 to 80 Giga octets (yes, my old computer IS that old) so I'm not complaining.

Okay, I am not using it yet because i need Kin to send me the installation CDs for photoshop and Office and all that jazz (because she went back home this morning, the meanie), but the old CD burner surprised me by actually working, so I already have my documents all backed up. Now I just need to upload the updates of my fics on my secret stocking LJ regularly in case it decides once was enough and it's not gonna burn more CDs, but right now everything's working and I hope it will keep on doing so. ;p

... you know what, I don't know. O_o it didn't have a keyboard or a mouse, so I don't know if it will have speakers. And I'm not sure if the problem is the computer or the speakers, so I won't know until I try, I guess. ^^;;;
