I DO NOT CARE ENOUGH ABOUT YOUR TASTES IN PAIRINGS TO EDIT PICS I INTENDED TO BE ABOUT MY FAVORITE COUPLES JUST TO FIT YOURS. If you (yes i'm talking about you, random stranger, and even about you, person who emailed/spoke to me twice and believes it makes you my greatest friend) want such or such pairing, draw it yourself.

Speaking of... something totally unrelated, have you ever heard of/read the Kiss of Shadows books by Laurell K Hamilton? I got into them a bit ago and for some reason, while I read, it made me think very strongly of YOU. It's celtic-esque spunk in a very sexy kinda way. No werewolves, unfortunately, but just about every other type of fey you can imagine. I don't do it justice at all but I'm going to hazzard a guess that you might really like it. Enough to make me make a fool of myself by doing this stupid little rec on your LJ. XP Lol

As for the Kiss of Shadows, yeah it's translated. XP I belive the French title is "Le Baiser des ombres". I'm sorry to enter this conversation like this... but I just wanted to confirm "le baiser des ombres" do exist in french. Her second "meredith gentry" books (meredith is the main character) has been published quite recently in France too.I believe it is called "la caresse de l'aube".

that said, i wanted to comment on Kiss of Shadows. i *love* laurell K Hamilton. she is my sensual muse. but if you do truly love werewolves, as i guess from above comments, you would like the Anita Blake series by the same author: Laurell K Hamilton. ^-^ there are vampires, and werewolves, and wereleopards, and all kinds of furry fun! ask Sabriel Sylfaen, my miko and bestest buddy. i will eventually purchase this series...it is to drool for.

Usually I try not to listen to the second part of the comments, but there's a girl who's been commenting on my art regularly and in EVERY. COMMENT. she slid something about her liking other (het) pairings better than the ones i draw. I agree to her right to like het couples; doesn't mean I want to hear how much better naruto is with hinata or the like. But a few months ago we talked some through AIM and so now she's apparently one of my true friends and has a right to tell me what I should like. Grarrrrr. *stomps around*

For that brand of fangirls, fanfic isn't about the unexpected story twist and the amazingly crafted sentences, nor is fanart about the way the muscles are shadowed and the position pretty; it's All About The Pairing. u_u;

I shall not draw harry/sev yet because sev is no a bishonen and i'm afraid i'd make him even more ugly than he is. XD that and i can read it; not look at it XD it's the age difference i guess. I like all harry/snape interaction, as father/son or lovers, so long as the smut isn't the main part of it ^^; that's not what interests me between them ~__~;;

That Brand of Fangirls is infesting the fandom. Romance is all well and good, but I'd kind of like a plot where the main focus is something like... well, the PLOT.

(In a most extreme case of this, the "author" spent ten paragraphs on wedding robes, and two sentences on students glowing and screaming and dying in the middle of the Great Hall. In the same chapter!)

(I took the pairing labels off my current fic project because I was getting fed up with "where's the H/K?" reviews. I still get them, just without the note of 'you said it was gonna happen, where is it?!' And a quick note, it's been there since Ch. 2, and I'm currently writing Ch. 34.)

Er, anyways, back to what I was actually saying... I think I've found all of two fics, EVER, that had a plot that was not about the pairing.
