Pretty lights... *___*
Waaah!!! nightfall!! *________*
As per tradition here in Lyon (and not anywhere else in France, I think) every 8th of december, we put at our windows ranges and ranges of little candles. (Something about the Virgin Mary saving the town from the plague or something ... I admit I don't care where that tradition came from :P )It's beautiful, to walk in the town, and everywhere you look, there are tiny flames dancing on the walls.
Now I have put my own six candles in their glass pots and I've turned out the light, and I'm looking at the soft orange reflections on the window's frame. *__*
I just hope it won't rain on them ;_;
Those pots were decorated by myself and then by my brothers when we were in kindergarten; it amazes me that none of them fell off the window or got broken or something.
*soft sigh*
I still remember the first time I was big enough to have the right to take one of the pots and bring it to Mom ;__; (and the first time I waited for everyone to sleep then stole one of the pots to put it on the floor and stare at it all night long. I was lucky Mom had taught me well to be very cautious with fire, I shudder to think what could have happened if I had put it too close to the drapes ^^;;;;; )
*sigh* Baby flames... Prettyyyyyyy..... @___@
