the first half i was all YAWN but the last pages I was FINALLY excited again. THE KIDS ARE BAACK.

I can't help but be a downer and wonder if this is all part of the genjutsu. All his buddies standing behind him as he's ready to pound the bad guys into pulp, proving their nihilism wrong and reaffirming his dream to be Hokage, almost sounds too good to be true. Plus are we ever going to see if Gaara and Tsunade are okay? Last time we saw them they probably weren't ;_;

(some novel side story about sasuke has been released, maybe check that out if you're missing sasuke at all. narutoforums has someone who's translated up to chapter four atm. so far it's the saddest thing and sometimes it's lolzy like when sasuke is accused of being a druggie xD

We've been told the whole armies were coming for *chapters* now, it was said that they were close and converging and it was a matter of time until they got there, and the baddies managed to summon the junbi without even needing to kill naruto, so why would they even *bother* genjutsuing him and not killing or draining him straight away. Also there were zero markers that this was an illusion either in-story or meta, and this manga is not subtle with the mindfucks. The genjutsu theory is kinda stupid, sorry. :/

The spinoffs don't ping me much, sadly enough. :(

Also, putting a genjutsu on Naruto and Killerbee without Kurama and Gyuki breaking it? Unlikely to say the least.
