Not the manga itself, bu due to the upcoming movie Road to Ninja, Kishi did a 30 pages long oneshot to lead up to it, and it's ADORABLE and funny and full of bonding with teams 8, 10 and Gai, PLUS it's a public bath thing. Eeeeeeeee. So much fanservice, and d'awwww adorableness! I wish we saw Naruto socializing with his peers more often. The chapter is well drawn and there's a neat line-up illustration, wow AU!Hinata sure is bold. @__@
Apparently there's going to be a filler episode for the anime called Road to Sakura or Sakura's road or something, I wonder what it'll be about... Sakura-centric episode yesplz??? *__*
As for the weekly chapter, hm. Nothing much to say. I miss Sakura, and Hinata and the other genins, and I kind of wish we were told what Karin is up to. I wonder how she'll slot into the Sasuke&Oro team-up subplot. It's making me want to write some Kyuunaru, though XD sadly enough Teamwork is rather far from a scene where I could pull Kyuubi back out, but argh, if I can just get through the next couple of matches... maybe I'll try again today. .___.

NaruHina and SasuSaku are supposed to stay unofficial so whenever Kishimoto hints at a pairing correcting soon after with a 'not really, it's just hypothetic haha', I feel cheated.XD I wonder what the man ships himself!
About the movie, did you see Sakura's parents? Grey-haired father and blond mother...you were right about their personalities, the mum looks dynamic (though she appears to be a ninja, too).
Thinking of that public bath cover page...had he been plotting the movie THAT long ago?
PS. Kishimoto likes AU and fanfiction indeed. <3

they are? XD They're not confirmed yet but the hints in canon are getting pretty blatant... I don't think anyone will hook up in the movie anyway, it's not part of the manga continuity and doesn't count, but it's still funny.
The gray hair is actually tinged kind of pink, so apparently she gets her hair from her dad! When I saw that I laughed so hard. XD I'm going to pretend that since this is opposite land they're ninjas but they're actually civilians in the manga, since apparently i saw rumors/citations that mentioned sakura's dad is the one who's hokage and not minato!!! :O if sakura's dad was actually anywhere close to this badass we'd have heard about him...
