I do like to ship some characters together every now and then (like imagining what RoseDave or JohnJade might be like, or what kind of turn of events might be necessary for that to happen, etc.), but that's kinda pretty much it. Yeah an actual crossover fic would be a ... fairly new can of beans to open. Like fabricating quadrants' role in Naruto-verse evolution and society...maybe too much to figure out, no matter how interesting that might be. I don't doubt you could figure something out, if you wanted to, but just seeing imagining trollmance in every fandom is interesting enough without plotbuilding or worldbuilding, yeah.
