For future reference I respond better to "by the way, how's teamwork/restore/whatever fic going?" than to "nudge poke nudge updaaaaaaaateplz why are you not writing, are you perhaps doing other things that you enjoy but I don't instead ???? le gasp so selfish D:" and yeah, the "why are you not writing X that *needs* updating" does come across as that.
