it's Naruto tiems again!
Manga: Team Ten keeps having nice Teamwork. I especially liked the bit where Ino gets back to back with Shikamaru and slumps against him. So she CAN use her power in battle! I still think the risk of being unconscious while she uses other people's bodies is way too high a risk to be 100% effective but it's still hee that she's willing to take that risk. Also obviously her teammates are used to covering her, which is also glee.
Chouji decides to ascend to Badass. I'd like it better if he didn't look so thin. He can be heroic and cutely fat, damn it. Okay, it makes sense that it would happen with his power, but... Hn. Uncute. :/
Naruto outwits Killerbee. By, uh, asking to go to the bathroom. Nice going there Bee.
Whoa, iruka might become relevant again! *gaspu*
And that's it for this week.
Anime: This week was Sakura's confession. It was pretty faithful to the manga and the art looked pretty nice. I have to say my favorite thing was the new opening, though. XD There's a new ending too but I found it kinda meh. It might interest people who like to see Naruto art with a different artstyle. I don't like things to be off-model in animation apparently. XD

She's gotta a lot better since the Hidan arc. There used to be 'too much lag' to use safely, now she can do it almost instantly *and* she got two targets at once! I wonder what that's like for her, it's gotta be pretty disorienting.
The trio's really gotten uber.

oooHH! very good point about her progress! I didn't keep track so I didn't realize. It's awesome! ... too bad we didn't see more of that onscreen, but still, heeee. :D Now I want an Ino training arc. (okay no training arcs are yawn. A training chapter? seems about right. XD)

Hm, I wonder what an Ino training arc'd look like? I mean, after all, it's her trying to hit targets with an invisible jutsu, then slumping over whether she does so successfully or not ^^ Perhaps it'd consist of her trying to hit mobile targets like birds in flight, or have her friends throw in conditions to make it harder.

Admittedly a possibility ^^ He's sort of like an older, black Naruto himself, but considering the Ox was badgering him, I think 'decided not to care' was more likely.

Maybe Kishimoto is just worried about making all his male readers self-conscious about relating to a girl? XD THINK OF ALL THE TEN-YEAR-OLD BOYS THAT WOULD HAVE BEEN LEANING OVER THEIR WSJ, TEARS EVERYWHERE AS INO REALIZES HER INNER STRENGTH AS A POWERFUL, YOUNG WOMAN. And then think of the poor fathers having to explain that it's alright if they feel like a powerful, young woman too.
And those GIFS sdfkd;lfndfsdf I can't wait to see all the scenes coming up animated. I love how they incorporated Sakura into their mix. On the outside looking in, but just as invested and influential to the story as Naruto and Sasuke. And agreed,
