Something tiny (e.g. "and then Fay chose silver glitter instead of gold") or big (e.g. "and then Rose was arrested instead of Jack") and I'll tell you how that one difference would have altered the course of the entire story. (I know I didn't answer to a couple of questions people had asked the first time i used that meme, so if you want to ask again, i'll try to answer this time around.)

-Ask me about a WIP's status and I'll tell you about it and give you the last couple of sentences I wrote for it. (yes, any WIP. >.>;;) Or if you have other fic-specific questions (what happened between X and Y while Z was doing xxx, what was A thinking when yyy happened, stuff like that), go for it.

Naruto: Crossed Wires, Locker Room Therapy sequels, Matter of Head sequel, Best Laid Plans sequel, Drunk Sakura!NaruSasuSaku (starts with "You know they like dick, right?"), Team Seven IN SPACE! AU, NaruSaku are newlywed T7 thinger, ItaSasu vampire/vampire hunter AU, NaruSakuHina drunk threesome, Sakura/Karin BDSM angst, and the Hyuuga-related Hinata angst that might end on a NaruSasuHina or a Team7+Hina I dunno yet.

Teamwork: Teamwork 3, the Suna trip, sasunaru + sasusaku first time twosomes, Sakura's prequel with the bazilion OCs (this one needs a complete rewrite and an actual plot), the OC pov sidefics, the Sasuke Sexy-no-jutsu sequelthing...

Gundam Wing: Newtypes, the OTHER HeeroIsAWerewolf! story, a weird oneshot I lost the mood for;

Crossovers: Sasuke and Sakura in the Chamber of Secrets, GundamWing/FF7 series of oneshots.

Ofics: mermaids IN SPACE, Cercle, something about a salaryman and a cheerleader who is also a werewolf, something about half-demon twins and a demon hunter.

Plus the really old abandoned stuff which I won't drag up now. >__>;;;

for the "What if", you mean? Oh dear. XD I don't really see Sasuke getting engaged (which would be for the purpose of breeding only, in his mindset) when Itachi wasn't dead yet. But IF... well, he'd have broken the engagement... also Naruto would have been twice as possessive of them... but it wouldn't have changed much, I don't think. For Teamwork to work, the premise has to be that they're way too entangled in each other for any outsider to have much impact. Sakura's boyfriend and Sasuke's engagement would only be their ineffectual tries to pull away from it. Especially if Sakura has broken up already, the guy wouldn't be much of a threat, and I just don't see a normal, ordinary civilian having a deep impact on Sasuke and getting under his armor. It would have to be a really specific, really exceptional person to get Sasuke to like them more than his teammates at this point of his life.

... There would be angst. Naruto would go through a "I feel dirty" period. Maybe even sort of violated. He'd hate the fact that his mother really did have to carry and raise her rapist's child. But I think being Naruto he would transform that hate and angst into a determination to bring Kyuubi to justice, make sure he goes to prison etcetera.

So he would train even harder to be able to take him on, and if it turns out that as a cop he cannot do that (because Sasuke is planning on becoming one and in the sequel ficletq I planned Naruto is kind of interested by the idea) then he would ... well, steal Sasuke's canon manga schtick and more or less go rogue and track him down. (But not before he's at least twenty year old, and just as tall and heavy as Kyuubi is and very proficient at hand to hand fighting. I think before that he wouldn't feel like he's got a chance.)

He'd probably lean on cop!Sasuke to find out Kyuubi's whereabouts, pressure him a bit because it's really important to him. Sasuke wouldn't like it, but he'd understand the feeling and end up tellinghim. He might even risk his job by going with him.

Hmmm. Actually I think he would still have wall'd Naruto and everything that happens next would have happened eventually. Naruto would just have been a lot more surprised by the kiss, because Sasuke likely wouldn't have been stealing kisses before the locker room incident. Sasuke never planned to more or less molest Naruto there and then, he was just secretly really worried about Naruto's state of mind and he hated seeing him so depressed. He just kinda REALLY sucks at showing it. XDD

Alas, that sequel is more or less stalled. I have ideas for it, scenelets and jokes I want to include (also, Seph as a woman woohoo) but they refuse to gel together into a whole. It's so difficult it feels like work, but worse because when I drag out humor line by line it never ends up funny. Humor fic really needs inspiration to write it right, and at the moment it's just not coming. I am v. sad. ;___;

Well, Arun would be a lot less irresponsible, and closer to what he should be at the end of his character arc in this here book -- thoughtful re: other people, mature and leader-like. Liadan would be just the same though -- very earnest and serious.

But their ages would have to be switched, or the reason the mission is here on the water-planet would have to be different. Because at 17 Liadan wouldn't be on this expedition as a candidate to doctorate, and at 30 Arun would be patriarch-like already, possibly with his own little pod of females and children. (he'd never have a big pod, btw, he's just not naturally ruthless enough to keep so many people together.) But... pretty little two-tails girl, lost at sea? He'd probably want to keep her for her own good, at least until he could get her back to an island. ... he'd have less of an ethics problem with underage sex and being pushy about it, too. D:

You know, it might be just as interesting actually. *_* Just not sure the clashes with Blue would be as funny to me, because merpeople don't have a taboo regarding male on male action. They don't even see it as sex, just as a way for two people to bond, and they have a tradition of shield brothers. So Arun wouldn't be shocked by the idea at all, and Blue might not even try to flirt with him to gross him out, because it wouldn't gross him out anyway, so there might not be that kind of interaction between them. In the other hand, Arun would think that male two tails = ewwww and he wouldn't especially want to become friends. XD

turns out that gaara arc, which i saw as kinda separate from the main arc, is going to have longer-lasting consequences than I planned. Now i've got to explore how much repercussions there will be exactly... >__>; Haven't started writing the next chapter though so I can't give it.

Next chapter still hasn't been started, so I can't give you snippets. Actually I keep telling myself I should ask you if you can help brainstorm, but you're never online when I feel the story wake up, and when you're here it's all gone or I just don't feel in the mood to think about anything writing-related. Frustrating! T___T

As for Duo, his thoughts were mostly "what the hell?" and "oh, Wufei, no." He doesn't know what Meiran is to him, but he can do the math. He didn't expect such an illogical reaction from him, but now he thinks maybe he should have. He's not judging, he's just a bit "ah hell" over the difficulties coming from helping Wufei with it. But he's good at going with the flow.

In fact he's a lot less surprised at Heero's helping Wufei than at Wufei himself. XD Heero's never been much for rules and official organizations when they got in the way of doing what he thought was right, and he's got this tendency for survivally stupid but meaningful gestures. XD

Sasuke hadn't expected to see him back home tonight. Not after the row they'd had. He hadn't expected Naruto to come back for at least a week.

Of course, it made him rather suspicious.

When he heard the moron whistle -- or murder, it was close enough -- something that might have been qualified as a jaunty tune, his suspicion went down under a barrage of utter puzzlement, put-upon annoyance and a touch of -- well, not worry, he didn't worry. Not concern either.

But what the hell. Sasuke's only viable explanation was a hit to the head and subsequent amnesia. Or he'd witnessed something he shouldn't have and got his last few days of memory erased via secret jutsu.

Naruto pushed the door open, called "I'm home!" with disturbing (and loud) happiness, and actually apologized (still with that insane cheerfulness) to the old harpy living next door when she complained about the noise. Like she could talk, with her poodle from hell and its perpetual high-pitched barking.

u.u;;; And, that's all I've got. That and a couple of notes which are actually someone else's comments on "omg it so has to happen XD" because her idea was awesome loltastic but apparently I'm super lame about actually writing it out. Woe.

Alas! So far it's not posted anywhere. u.u;;; But I have three bazilion notes. I hope I can figure out the right angle and start writing it at some point, because I like the plot and the settings. Might have to redo the first chapter, though, I don't know why but it doesn't really work.

It's got a Jenova-cetra hybrid species dating from the time she arrived on Gaia. They're empathic/telepathic amongst each other, due to Jenova originally being a kind of hive mind creature. Zack and Seph are both Jenocetran and in the same pack of... exactly two people! since Seph's so powerful that his telepathy tends to overwhelm people and if they're not strong enough mentally they start to act like creepily adoring extensions of his will instead of separate people. Cloud's human.

I'm prodding at the intro to the next chapter of restore right now ^^ Stll haven't written anything I can really show, but I'm making the outline. As for the pairing tangles, I think I've sorted out as much as I can at this point. They'll have to evolve naturally as I write from here on.

Suna trip is for now stalled. Last time I tried I had a hard time with Sasuke's voice. But the plot itself is slowly being straightened out so... yay? XD;; I keep throwing brand new issues to sort out in there, though. If I keep going it's gonna end up so huge it won't fit in the break between TW2 and 3. XD;;; *loooose*

HP/Naruto crossover, the sasusaku one? It's really just an expansion of the drabble I wrote for the crossover section of "ten types of fic" drabble meme I did some time ago. Problem is that my ideas were very clear back when I created the file and I thought I didn't need to take notes. I was wrong. ~_~

I haven't started writing the actual text of the newlywed story, alas. So far it's all outlining and taking notes on what absolute needs!! to happens, no prose apart from a couple of quickly noted dialogue ideas.

Glad of the interest, though. Thank you ^__^ and thanks for the link, though I tried to read that manwha before and while the game and virtual reality aspects were fun, the "your rp character has to be the same gender as yourself and there's no one else ever who has tried to get around that rule!" thing just seemed way unrealistic to me so I couldn't really buy into the premise. It's a cute story but I couldn't continue it. ^^;;;

Well, the post is old enough that people have more or less stopped commenting, so if it's not in the list of comments you might as well ask. XD;;;

As for the half-demon twins it's so far mostly just notes. But yes, lots of twin things. the settings : urban fantasy, taking part during an in-progress-magical apocalypse ... more or less magical entropy, so things are steadily getting worse and no one knows what to do about it. Things are slippping out from other planes of existence, things less real and less bound by the laws of nature as we know it blahblah surely what people in ancient times meant by hell! blah. The twins are half-demon but at first glance it looks as if one is full demon and one full human. Things are more complicated than that. ... Also it kinda looks as if the demon twin is tracking down his sister like a crazy stalker and hurting people around her, so the demon hunter offers his help.

But, yeah. Turns out to be a lot more complicated than that. >:3

How about in Teamwork 2? Something different happens with the seal. This could be anything from outright not even activating, to full on Pink!Kyuubi, or anything in between.

Either that, or Itachi popping up at any random point, although this is mostly for funnies instead of drama.

... dude. XD;;; "something different" is wayyyy too vast a divergeance. The possibilities are endless.

If it hadn't activated it might have turned out that they'd be missing-nin by now. Because Sakura's health would be getting steadily worse, Naruto and Kyuubi would be furious at being powerless, and Sasuke once again driven to do rash things because Konoha wasn't bringing him the solutions he needs. Also Tsunade wouldn't be able to say "no, it was planned from the start, so they don't need to be punished because here is what they did, you can see it was only to make sakura healthier, and it worked out fine." There would be no proof that they weren't trying some darker, forbidden scheme, so it's likely they would have known they were never getting past genin ever and they were doomed to dead-end jobs and... with the aforementioned failing health, tadah! looking for solutions elsewhere. Sakura might have talked them into coming back and trying her luck with a months-long hospital stay but even so they would have felt even more alienated from the village as a whole.

But what I really, really want is more about the SephZackCloud packmates slavefic-ish AU, because yes. Uh. I mean. You've barely given any detail at all and it makes me incoherent already. Since I don't give a damn about spoilers and you might not want to bother typing anything, if you feel like scaning your notes and emailing them to me I'll love you forever... ohmygod I can't believe I'm actually being this brazen. Awww. *petpet* Don't worry! If there's one thing I can always babble on and on about, it's my stories. *coughcough* >___>;;

The Team Seven IN SPACE! story is ... actually still somewhat undefined. I came up with it as an exercise in writing fast-paced but short multipart -- the original goal was three parts. hahahaha. haha. hah. I now have about seventeen pages of notes and there are still plotholes, so I haven't started in on the actual prose yet. It's about people in space stations and freaky blob-like creatures that can shapeshift and that eat/assimilate every living thing they come across. Some years ago, the uchiha were doing research on it, but it escaped from their control. Itachi injected Sasuke with a genetically modified version and then threw him in an escape pod. Since then Sasuke has lived as a ticking time bomb, who could lose to the blob inside him and start eating people anytime. D: The worst for him is that he doesn't know if Itachi was trying to save him or just sending out spores to contaminate the next space station Sasuke reached. Sakura is a brand new medic who has all sorts of fascinating ideas about medical applications for the blob which Sasuke kind of hates on principle, and Naruto is a ... okay, a kind of space hobo actually XD He travels a lot, so he just arrived on the station. Since Sasuke is a security guy he's very suspicious about him.

Then shit happens. u.u


As for the FF7 thing, actually I have the first scene typed up, so I think i'll post it. ...it's not going to make much of the worldbuilding clear, though. >D But if you still want the notes, sure. But it's gonna be difficult if you don't give me your email, seeing as you have private messages disabled. XD (or if you have AIM? mine's askerian. I'm up at weird hours, though.)

You really don't have to answer this, because I'd imagine this post is rather old.

I was just rereading my favorite this-es and that-s from Teamwork and I was trying to picture how Team 7 would react if Sakura lost the baby. I mean I know it's not likely after they merged it with Kyuubi's chakra, but yeah >.<

Would Sasuke just be crushed or would he remain adamantly stoic? Would Kyuubi be phased? Would Naruto be in such despair, and Kyuubi so hurt that Kyuubi would sort of take over for awhile?

I mean, I can picture Naruto and Sakura's reaction (to the best of my ability), but just yeah :x
