1. Color paaaaaage. ... I love the position Suigetsu is in, in the very first panel. Copared to the way Karin jumps, with her knees together like a *snrk* proper lady... I also like the way Tobi twists out of the air -- it gives a hint as to how his jutsu works. And WHEE for Sasuke's really!surprised face. He makes such expressions so rarely. He really didn't expect Tobi to pop up. XD
2. Illustration yay! Karui's golden eyes are fucking hot. As for the parallels though, I wonder if Samui really is their team leader since she's in parallel to Kakashi (in which case where's their third and is Killer Bee their master only the way Jiraiya and Tsunade are Naruto and Sakura's?) , or if they were just put in parallel because of their personalities and roles in the team? I'm confused. Samui does seem to have more responsibilities, from the little we've seen.
3. Sasuke's FACE when he asks "how did you know where I was?" Oh my GOD how dare the guy he's using for his own ends and then ditching DARING to keep track of him? >( Can't that Tobidara guy just let himself be used, damn it?

4. Aaaaand Madara shows the fangs behind the genial attitude and leftover Tobiness. Mmmh. I kinda like how he treats Sasuke -- so many people are super impressed with him, but he only sees a teenager who's not as smooth as he believes. X3
5. Question answered -- Sasuke really didn't know it was a double of Killer Bee they handed over. I'm kind of torn over it -- in the one hand Sasuke needed to mess up SOMETHING and lose a battle at some point; him succeeding at everything he tries is damn frustrating -- but in the other hand I don't like that he's innocent of the deliberate murder of a guy who had never done anything to him on a technicality. Bad rap verses are not a reason to kill someone. I hope we see more on what Sasuke expected to happen, and that either he thought Killer Bee wasn't going to be killed just yet (why would he though) or that he's currently lying to Madara... But he really does look unsettled in the rest of the scene. hrrn.
I like that Sasuke didn't really waste time thinking -- Tobi slaps him on the nose with a verbal newspaper, orders him around, and BZZZZT NO BITCH. HAVE THEE A CHIDORI. He was caught by surprise after he thought he was home free re:akatsuki. I like that.
6. "I passed right through him... It's just like before" --aha! So Sasuke knows already about Madara's jutsu... What was he doing? Testing whether electricity could touch the guy where solid matter could not, perhaps? Or did he really just have a kneejerk reaction? I think I like either theory just the same XD Maybe both in one.
Madara: "Now I'm gonna give you the order to do exactly what you were going to do anyway, in a way that lets me slip you new info while still looking like I'm your boss and not your informant." Smooth, Tobidara, very smooth.
7. Sasuke's surprised face when he learns about Konoha being destroyed... hee. I'm a bit disappointed we didn't get a bigger panel of closeup on his face, actually. Woe.
Karin is surprised at Zetsu's appearance! Does he teleport too? She wouldn't get surprised if he'd been there all along, would she? Unless he hides his chakra into the wood... but a tree with chakra should look weird anyway, shouldn't it? Aaaaah how does it wooork.
8. "Danzou, hokage?" ... hehehehehehehehe. NOW he looks kind of offended. And NOW he actually asks about Konoha! He caaares. (XD)

Sakura: *completely floored* D: WAIT WHAT LAST WE KNEW HE WAS TRYING TO KILL ONE AKATSUKI HE CAN'T BE AKATSUKI WTF. ... ;____; aaaand "stupid girl" and "what is he to you?" Ouch.
Frankly, I know Sakura is getting a lot of flak for crying, but -- oh I'll let Saro say it, she says it better. Suffice it to say it's not too surprising; after that emotional rollercoaster she's been on for the past days it's no surprise learning Sasuke has joined that group of murderous bastards and having their bond questioned would break the camel's back.
I really dislike how some people are BAWWWWWWSHECRIED about it, like that negates the cool head under pressure and the way she took charge after Tsunade was KOed. OMG she can fight! omg she can heal deep injuries without falling to pieces under the pressure of having someone's life in her hands! omg she can direct people and take control and have her authority respected! But, she cried over the guy she loves falling deeper into ~*the darkness*~, destroying a little more of his soul and getting further away from them, therefore she's still a weak little fangirl.
I don't know, I'd rather have a Sakura who breaks down sometimes than a girl who's always superstrong and always superhealy and always superincontrol and has a ~*perfect*~ handle on her feelings. That's not a human character, it's a mary-sue, and ooc to boot. Sakura has always had powerful feelings, it's part of her character. Rememeber "shinobi don't cry T^T" and "don't cry! next time we'll do it together! T^T"
What really gets my goat is that actually I think Naruto has cried as often or more often than she has. But he's a manly male, so it just exemplifies how super hard his life is. She's a fangirl so it exemplifies how weak she is. Yeah. Wtf fandom.
10. I like how Naruto is all compassionate and understanding and sad, though. He understands where she's coming from. T^T ♥

11. Once again the "you can't understand!" "sure I can because it happened to me" issue is brought up. Man, no one in this manga has any imagination. XD

That's very nice Naruto, and a very logical and more constructive response than revenge so yay for being so mature now, and you even happen to be accidentally right that he's safe! (thanks Kishi for making you psychic.) Buuuut you know how they grabbed Gaara and then almost IMMEDIATELY they started extracting Shuukaku? Yeaah. In normal circumstances it would be too late shortly after he's captured, and I'm sure the trip to Konoha took long enough, not to mention the trip back to wherever Killer Bee was taken. Just saying. >___>
I like how Karui was all relieved though. X3 "I told you he was safe!" hah, yeah right, pretend you were sure all along, hon. XD

I guess it bothers me a little that Sakura seems to be used as a contrast to show how cool-headed and in control Naruto has grown.

I liiiike all that uchiha intrigue and posturing. Madara establishes his dominance, then gives orders that are exactly what Sasuke wanted to do anyway... then Sasuke orders it done to his own minions, but in a way that totally pretends he's still in control, that he hasn't just tried to hit Madara for ordering him, and that they're still in an alliance of convenience instead of him being even a little bit "shit, i can't touch him."
It makes perfect sense if you want something done, to use someone who wants to do it anyway. But as logical as it is Sasuke has got to HATE it, how he's still going along with Madara's orders. The second he can find a crack in his defense, he's gonna backstab him so hard. ... but I really like that he tried once and he failed. Madara is smarter than Orochimaru about that... I guess he's not distracted by his desire for Sasuke booty. XD

I like where this plot is going, but gotta say, this chapter, specifically the actually-sending-Killerbee-to-his-death thing, made me very fucking disappointed in Sasuke. Worthy-of-many-face-smacks disappointed. It is nice, though, to watch him squirm and snap when things go wrong.

3. I am not sure whether it is really just that they follow him. I rather think that his team is quite pleased that they are no longer with Akatsuki, and Suigetsu's answers to Madara confirm this. He is just speaking for all of them in this scene, not ordering them around.
5. Sasuke not deliberately letting Killerbee excape - I am torn about it too.
6. It took me some time too, but then I remembered that Sasuke met him during his fight against Deidara. Funny about Madara trying to appear the boss by ordering Sasuke to do exactly what he wants to do. Most people rather write about Sasuke, that he tries to appear independent but doing exactly what Madara wants him to do.

Especially when I think back to the Killerbee fight - Kishi seemed to put a lot of emphasis on the fact that Sasuke didn't want to kill him, and that he only used Amaterasu as a last resort because he thought the eight-tails might have killed him and his team... why underline such a thing, if in the end he was consciously sending him to his death without a care in the world? It just doesn't add up.
Plus, like I said, no one ever talked to him about the jinchuuriki (didn't he also have to ask Madara what exactly they were during their little meeting? He knew about Naruto and the Kyuubi, but not about the other beasts or the fact that imprisoning them in a host was a 'standard practice' in many villages... it seems doubtful that he'd know much about the extraction process if he didn't even know about that).
And if he doesn't know, he's not likely to gain that knowledge very soon, considering he's about to meet with bijuu-less Gaara, who's alive and kicking

idk, I go back and forth about Madara and his views on his own family. On the one hand he cared enough to drag Itachi's body back so it wouldn't be kicked/molested by random passersby, and to tell Sasuke another version of the truth, but on the other hand his family totally betrayed him and left him out to dry, and he got really pissed and threw a bijuu at the village. And Maddy doesn't take betrayal lightly.
I think he'd rather see the clan restarted once his vision of the world is made reality. He seemed to like it better when they were nomads, fighting all the time, and viewed with contempt the way they'd settled. Maybe he just longs for those days when things were a lot easier and decisions were clear.
But idk. I try not to analyze Naruto too much because... it's Naruto. XD;

Eeeee, Color pages were awesome. You know, much though I am a dedicated 'Team-7 Reunion fan' unless the rest of Taka dies, that's going to add a weird dynamic. I mean if Sasuke tells them 'We're joining Konoha, here put on this head band' they're going to do it with minimum fuss. I just wonder how the rest of the village will react? (Naruto won't care, Naruto will be so glee about Sasuke being back that the minor annoyance of the fangirl and the rest will not even register on his radar.)

I second what you say on Sakura's tears. And lately when she's cried, she hasn't let it stop her from doing what she wants to get done; she just goes right through the tears. She does need a break.

That she just fell down was what annoyed me. Maybe if she grabbed something on the way down and made it look like her legs just gave out as everything hit her at once?
