My baby brother is back from Afghanistan! Safe and sound and all muscley. But he still fell asleep on my shoulder in the car. N'awwww. damn but his head is heavy. XD ♥
I think this is the most interesting chapter we've seen in a LONG while.
1) It's taken so long for Kakashi and Naruto to really build a relationship, but seeing kakashi catch him, n'awwwwwwww. T___T
2) Sakura Hug! Sosososocute. T^T-b
3) N'aww Hinata and all the other konoha 11 smiling at him.awww everyone luvs naruto now.
4) ... it's official, I love Team Samui. They're so cracktastic. X3
5) ... politics. mmmmmyes. *__* Oh, the situation with Danzou as the hokage could go so many different ways. SO MANY. But all of them have the potential to majorly hinder Naruto and his great quest for sasuke booty. Also, Sai! I wonder if he's gonna get some spotlight too... *__*
*rolls* Ahhhh I want to be next weeeeeek already. Not only for the manga, but because the fillers are FINALLY over, and next anime episode has SASUKE VS OROCHIMARU. Sasuke fighting. Sasuke being arrogant. Sasuke's voice actor. I waaaannt. X333

This chapter is pretty good. I like the juxtaposition of where Naruto used to be to where he is now. He and Hinata need to talk soon. He and Kakashi also need to talk soon ("So yeah...Kakashi-sensei....is there something you'd forgotten to mention? You know...something about the 4th...AND HIS KID? Cause, you know, hypothetically that info might have been IMPORTANT to some of us!").
Danzou taking power. H'okay. Interesting times ahead, but it once again feels like Kishi is on a tight schedule and wants to move events along extremely quickly. Tsunade isn't even dead yet and pop here comes a new Hokage. Hurray, just in time for what are no doubt sensitive negotiations to be carried out with a rival nation. I sense hijinks in the near future.

I'm really, really excited for once about the upcoming chapters. I can't wait to see what Danzo's going to do, and how the race for finding the Hachibi is going to pan out. Also: Sasuke and co. coming to Konoha. XDDDDDDDDDDDDD

They're jumping ahead too much with the Hokage situation, I think, but at the same time it's understandable considering the shit that's gone down and the shit that's gonna hit the fan (well the shit they KNOW will hit the fan)
Naruto's going to flip when they announce it. I don't think anyone will be all that happy. Sai- Sai would know better than anyone how Danzou is. Oh god the conflict for him.

My only problem with Naruto's homecoming is that it somehow seemed a bit more... contrived than, say, Gaara's awesome one. Maybe I'm just sick of having NarutoJesus stuffed down my throat by Kishi. D:

OMG Naruto, it'll be interesting how the village will react to Danzou as the 6th Hokage when they loves Nartuo and Tsunde is still in a coma. I swear I wasn't that into politics behind this or any other series when I first started reading Naruto. O.o

I literally cringed when they made Danzo the new hokage.
I have this horrible fear that he is going to try to force Naruto into being a weapon.
