I just wanted to add that I think your rant needs to be posted somewhere where everyone in the fandom can see. There is just too much wankary going on.
As for Hinata, well, she was never my cup of tea. Don't know why, I just never cared much for her, but I still don't understand all the hate. And besides, she looks absolutely kick-ass in those panels, so where the hell is all this fuckery coming from I cannot fathom.
People need to get over their inner thirteen-year-old-prepubescent-girl selves and realize that just because they really wanted to smack whoever it was that stole away their First One True Love (TM), this should not in any way or form transfer over to fictional characters. Naruto is not just like your junior high school days, stop living vicariously through an animated show, dammit.
