Hm, you're right, I think what I was thinking when I wrote that was that Jin was trying to look exhausted and weakened enough to make Naruto protective. He got a big "this guy likes to be a hero for others" ping off Naruto. XD

But in the end it doesn't bring much to the fic and I could just cut off the section that goes from Jin tripping and "you okay?" to "well, harsh." If there's any info that helps with the following bit maybe I could sneak it in somewhere else... Is the scene necessary in your opinion? I'd love making the scene a little shorter and lighter. ~___~;
