new intro and end songs for Naruto...

I really like the first one. It's pretty to look at, I like the music... and as someone pointed out in the original chuunin post, "yes, naruto and sasuke are gay for each other, we get it already", not that's a bad thing. XD

... The only thing is, ok, the filler characters look alright-ish... (well, i like the woman so far, though the punching guy's animation is slow and clumsy) BUT AUUUGH FILLERS WHY. Is this all a ploy to make us feel more sorry for Asuma when he kicks it? Like there isn't enough f**ing manga to animate by nowwwwww. Blargh, maybe they're afraid there won't be space to put fillers in later on... hrrm, i dunno. But still, augh filler. *suspicious* DX


The second one is really fucking boring, and IMHO the music is so-so. the only bit I liked was Sasuke and Naruto do this "slowly look up/slowly look down" in tandem, it was sexy and should be iconned by someone who can do moving icons, hint hint >.>


As for the fillers... Oh well. ~__~ Not like we don't all know what happens... *grumblehuffs*

For the first one...is it clips from filler eps or are they interspersing clips from the Shipuuden movie? They did that with some of the previous op/end sequences. If filler...URK. As long as it took them to get from the beginning of the timeskip to where they are now, they're certainly not going to be catching up to the manga any time soon.

No, it's not from the movie. Unless that's the Sasuke movie, but I don't think there's even a big trailer yet? And usually they take clips from the movie and change the whole thing for a couple of weeks, and not when it's supposed to be a whole brand new intro. ;_; Someone saw the raw and apparently the filler bad guys appear at the very end of this week's ep. So yes, filler.

I haven't been watching the anime lately, and seeing that first one and reading what you wrote, I'm thinking, ". . . You've got to be fucking kidding me. Filler? Again? THEY'RE GOING SLOW ENOUGH WITH THE EPISODES! WHAT THE HELL ARE THEY PLAYING AT?!? ò_ó
As for which ones you liked and didn't like, I'm totally with you about both of them. The filler characters kinda threw me there, but the rest of the opening was pretty good, I thought. As for the second one, I also liked the look up/look down thing, but I also liked the color thing after that, how they all had different colors for a moment.

Back to the filler. . . . You think it's going to last for over a year again? (God, I hope not.) ó_ò

I liked the opening, I'm a bit scared about the fillers even if the chars look so-so.
The ending is plain boring even with the hotness of the suits. Gaara looks so pimp in the white suit.

The opening was great! I loved the song and I really wish the animation from that opening was always like that in the anime. (but then again, I'm picky! xD)

The ending song seemed a bit corny to me. But man, there's so much unresolved sexual tension between Sasuke and Naruto. They seriously need to get a room!! &heart;

I really love the new opening (though it would have been nice to get some more Sakura and Kakashi as well), blue is one of my favourite colours! ^^

I'm kinda trying not to think about the fillers, however... I mean, anime team, WHY? >_< You've got enough material, it's not necessary for you to stop everything AGAIN, is it? Please, I wanna see Sasuke in action already! ;_;

The ending is nice as well, but what's up with all these AU endings? First the high school one, now the business-men one... I preferred the first 'canon' one, to be honest. *shrugs* Love the simultaneous looking-up together, though, AND the song.

For my part, I mostly dread fillers...but there's a possibility for something good here. One major thing that gets glossed over in the manga is the other jinchuuriki. We know there are 7 others running around, but we never get to see more than a glimpse of them before the Akatsuki come rumbling in. I'd like to see more about them. What can they do? What kind of people are they? Are they all batshit insane like Gaara used to be, or do they hope for something more? I feel like we got into a rush in the manga over all this, and the series could easily fill in some of those gaps.

I kind of like the opening, except for the appearance of more fillers. D: I hope it's something to do with that two-tail jinchuuriki, and that it gives us more background (like the fillers did for Anko and Orochimaru)... because the manga left me wanting to know more.

But, realistically, it's probably more to give us the heartwrenching tears when Asuma dies. ... or maybe it's neither. >.>

I agree with the other person, they should have just done Kakashi Gaiden. We would have LIKED that.
