OMG YES. *FLAIL FLAIL FLAIL*

So first I was torn between OMG SASUKE SEXY + NICE STRATEGY + FUCKING KIRIN = COOLNESS and "eww, Itachi's just gonna stand there and take, it, where's the guy who was the stuff of Sasuke's nightmares" -- not that I don't like how sexy broken, "ohhellno" Itachi is, but, where's the shiny in Sasuke winning easier than he won against friggin Deidara. I loved Deidara but that's just wrong. Where's the despair and the doubt when the plans fail and he has to improvise, and the pain and the grievous wounds and the almost passing out from bleeding all over the place. Also there haven't even been any flashbacks trying to make us tear up at Itachi's passing. Can't die yet, it's a proven fact.

And then there was Susano.

And the Asuka saw that Susano was good.

I have no clue what it does (apart from a giant ghost ribcage that can serve as a lightning rod), but I love what it does to Itachi's eyes. I wonder if it only works once because it means he sacrifices his sharingan, or maybe as long as he's using it all other abilities don't work, or something. Even if there's no drawback save the energy drain, prrrrreyes. *_*



... And did anyone notice that Sasuke has an Orochimaru eye in his glamrock seal mode?

Yes. The Uchiha don't think in a fight, as evidenced by the distinct lack of... well, thoughts on both Sasuke and Itachi's side during this fight. Zetsu thinks for them! XD

Hell yeah. Naruto manga rocks. Especially Itachi without Akatsuki cloak. Yum. Sasuke really is something...that KIRIN was awesome! But of COURSE it wasn't enough to beat aniki. He's a damned walking talking Japanese myth story after all...

Shame and all cause my major is Japanese and I feel I'm the last one to notice that OMG ITACHI's ATTACKS ARE THE NAMES OF THE THREE KAMIS THAT RULE OVER THE WORLD. THE BIGGEST KAMIS. CAUSE THERE ARE SMALLER ONES TOO. GUH.

Tsukiyomi well, rules over the night and the moon...explains a lot. heh. Amaterasu. Godess of the Sun. Turns everything into ash and dust. Hellyeah.

Oh...Susanoo no mikoto...he has the seas...imagine Itachi with a bigcool water jutsu. hmm. That man just can't be sexier. Even if it won't be a water technique I know he'll be awesome. Go Itachi!

Oh and I think he sees nothing actually. Or maybe fragments. There were three little dots in his right eye. well. The sharingan was born from byakugan...hmm...he went back to the basics. An Uchiha with Hyuuga eyes. Blind. Or so I think. =) Hell of a chapter!

OMG, that one page with Sasuke slowly realizing the reality (in his belief) of his brother's death was simply AWESOME. I think he might have had, like, three hundred lines under his eyes, he looked SO FUCKING PAINED AND TIRED.

And then, of course, Itachi LIVES. ^o^ I've been waiting for desperate!Sasuke. Plans-making-and-strategy-using!Sasuke was great too, obviously, but this is THE big fight - at the end of it, I want them both to be CRAWLING on the ground in order to fight to their last and COUGHING UP BLOOD in order to speak their final words to each other. I DEMAND THAT! ...and flashbacks, of course. Lots of flashbacks (plus, could you possibly insert some blood-licking as well, Kishimoto? Pretty please? *doe eyes*).

On another note, Itachi has now officially TAKEN OFF THE CLOAK. Just saying. ^^

That's pretty much how it was with me with this past week's comic... unfortunately my boyfriend was reading it at the same time so he actually told me my spazzing was getting annoying :( But... ORO!

I'm sure he will eventually. I like his commentary though (well not the style in which it's written necessarily) since it helps explain the "wtf is going on in the fast bits of the fight" aspect.
