naruto episode 26 raw.

... Oh. Oh my god. I think I had a joygasm.

I'm a WHORE for pretty taijutsu fights, with neat choreography and -- well my favorite fight is still the fight on the hospital roof, because there was team angst, and the faces were PRETTY on top of the movements being gorgeous, and this episode the faces are just so-so, but. Ohh. Chiyo/Sakura PLATONIC-TP. The movements. The backflips and dodges and MAD PUNCHES and ohhhhh SINCE WHEN DOES SAKURA MOVE LIKE THAT. *happyflail* And here she was so bad at taijutsu before, and they've made her move just as well as Sasuke ever did, and ohhh. (kinda pisses me off that we're not gonna see her fight ~~like that~~ at all for a good long while. ~___~) And the puppets!!

... the puppets are sexy. It made me kinda go AW! every time one of them sacrificed themselves to keep Sakura or Chiyo safe, even though I know they're all technically controlled by Chiyo and not alive. I don't know why. I think I tend to think of them more like Chiyo's faithful summons than like wood and seals... ;_;

And the dramatic camera angles and slow-mo and and and EEE.

Also, i want a fic where Chiyo lived. because she and sakura -- awwww ;_____; They forged such a strong bond in such a short time. I loves it.

One of the things I love about animated Shippuden is that we get to see a little more of the fights than in the manga. One of my favorite battles in the manga was Chiyo/Sakura against Sasori because it was so good. I like that I am seeing Gai fight his clone in his youthful glory and I can see Neji doing his thing (SIGH!! YES!!). Dude, I loved Chiyo-basan that I STILL want to cosplay her, she was such an awesome shinobi XD.

Ohh *wibbles*, that would be so awesome, I really would like to see something like that too. Maybe Gaara can finally gain a grandma.

LOL, ohh, I wish I could say I want to go to sleep but I am still at work XD.

My girlcrush is firmly cemented!

I love this fight so much. More like it would be nice, but it came at a nice time, you know, just when we might have been ready to forget that Sakura is actually A MOTHERFUCKING NINJA. Who needs bloodline magic powers anyway. <3

And yes, Chiyo and Sakura ftw. Can they be my rolemodels? I'd like that. XD

Honestly, I liked the episode, but the series itself is what's getting on my nerves. No battle in the history of the show has dragged out this long and moved this slowly, and it's not even like they're giving us seizures with repeated flashbacks. Most times, the characters are simply acting slowly for what is supposed to be a quick battle.

Like previously...

*injects self with three minute serum*
Sakura: Alright, now I have three minutes to fight!
Chiyo: BLAH BLAH BLAH!
Narrator: You do realize it took four minutes to say all that, right?
Sakura: *dead*

I never actually thought I'd get sick of canon, but in this case I just want the bloody fight to be over already.

OH. DEAR. BOB. THAT WAS AMAZING *flails* T-there's so much - and the end! salfsjd I totally spazzed! HOW CAN THEY END IT LIKE THAT, DAMN THEM (I mean anyone who's read the manga knows what's gonna happen b-but still T_T) I dun wanna wait a weeeek~

Whoever did the animation this week needs to oversee every fucking episode from now on. I'M LOVING THE ANIMATION SO HARD OMFG. *_______*

It's so reminiscent of the style used in the Gaara vs. Lee episode and the Sasuke vs. Orochimaru episode, both of which I love simply for the animation alone.

ONLY THIS IS OODLES BETTER. *heaps lovings on Sakura and her all-around badassery*

That's really easy to justify, Chiyo living. Just have Sakura remember to squish the spam-in-a-can before he can reassemble his ~~legos~~ body.
