Lookie what I found on Youtube. Another trailer for the fourth Naruto movie, the one that happens with Shippuuden-aged characters. Apparently it comes with the double-episode of this week, so it will probably be subbed with it too; this one's the raw version.

-I'm kinda disappointed to see that we're getting another Pretty Princess to Save. they did that with Yukie already. ;_; I was hoping (a little foolishly) that the protagonists would be naruto-cast only. Oh well. I did like Yukie, for all her "actress... AND PRINCESS", "pretty crystal pendant that's secretly the KEY TO SAVING THE WORLD COUNTRY" and "Past Connection to Kakashi" speshulness. (she was selfish and childish in an interesting way. Also i liked her character design.) Maybe I'll like that new girl too... >_>

-... It wasn't Sakura who was screaming NARUTOOOOO so desperately in the other trailer? But. But!! I could have sworn the voice actress was the same!! ;_; Much sadness. Maybe they both get to do it... ;.;

-Nice animation *__*

-... FIGHTING!NEJI AND LEE. WHEE. Also Sakura punching rocks = always cool.


So this trailer tells me this will not be the heights of awesome I had foolishly envisioned (probably merely v. cool) , but at the very least there will be some prettypretty fight scenes and also, yay for Neji. And hey, I could be surprised and end up liking the plot, too. o.o


this movie is already in the WIN category on the simple virtue of providing us tentacle-impaledraped!Naruto. hohoho.

Awe...that makes me...kinda...sad. :(

I mean, yeah, there's potential for fights and plot and pretty...but...it really looked like it'd be "all about the Naruto Cast" for a while there. And that really sounded like Sakura. *le sigh*

Ah, well. There's still lots of potentialandtentacleimpaledraped!Naruto so it should end up alright. *^.^*

Am I the only one who thinks she's sort of got a resemblance to Hinata, just with light hair and.. sort of purple eyes (?), if I saw right?

The fight scenes look like they could be a world of fun. *__* Lee is put in two movies in a row, and thats exciting to me.

To be honest,the first time we see her when she's screaming, I thought she was Hinata. Ah well. It happens. They can only have so many orig character designs I guess.

OH noes...I too thought that was Sakura...well shit. Well the only satisfaction I'm getting out of this princess is that she got dropped and yes that's wrong of me but oh well. the animation is definately the best I've seen in a while for movies. Is that NEJI?? *excuse the fangirl*

Ah, normally I lurk, but I just wanted to jump out and clarify that this new girl, Shion or something similar, is not a princess but a miko. Apparently the new big bads from the Oni no Kuni (Land of Monsters?!) have a plan that threatens the Five Great Shinobi Countries, and the person who can seal this evil is the miko, so they're trying to kill her. Naruto and co. are obviously trying to protect her, but she apparently has trust issues with their motives.
