NNNGH WHY CAN'T I WRITE WITHOUT SOMEONE KICKING MY ASS EVERY STEP OF THE WAY. T_T Also I need one of my usual bounce-ideas-off-people people to help me with the latest Teamwork tidbit because my brain is stalled and I keep getting sidetracked. But Saro is going to school, Windy is busy with RL, and I haven't seen Jo in way too long. Where are you, Jo? ;_;

The problem isn't so much the general ideas, just -- I have no clue where to start. Once I'm writing, I might be able to keep going, but I just can't start. It would just take a little effort, but my brain is on vacation. It's been on a vacation for way too long, too, and that really annoys me. ~_~

as for the pervy ficlets, I'm still thinking about doing them. someday. but yeah, I thought I could force the porny muse, and it turns out... not too much. *tears off hair* damn it I want to write smut already, where the hell did that mental block come from. I'm sorry. T_T

Motivation : 0. Oh, god, I hear ya. I've finally, finally got an idea for a fic of my own, I have a plot almost entirely planned, and if I can just get through this chapter I can start getting to the fun stuff. And I'm stuck. (It should have been easy, too. I need Sasuke to brood. Unfortunately, I seem to have managed to find the one situation where Sasuke doesn't want to. *head-desk* Come on, emo kid! You're supposed to be good at this! *pokes*)
So, yes, I feel your pain. Hopefully you're muse will come back from where ever it went soon? ^_^;

I find that writing the first thing that comes to mind helps. Write anything, it can be the beginning, middle or end. Just write something, otherwise you stayed locked in that 'i have horrible writer's block' that Windy gets into so often. Write anything, even if it is crap, it can always be edited. I have a lot of documents that i just start to write, some are good, some are.... lets not talk about those. ^^ Just try it. Put on some music you like. I like loud and angry when i am writing, helps me to tap into emotion. Classical is good too. you can start off writing what the music is saying to you, you never know, it could be something you could use later-with a bit of polishing.

oh, and fyi, never ever crytic a piece (art or writing or whatever) if someone is doing it for you out of the goodness of their heart. Understand?

I'm in Philadelphia airport, having finally found an internet cafe -- the hotel in Tortola, nada; the San Juan airport where I had a five-hour layover, zilch; the planes, big duh no.

FIVE. HOUR. LAYOVER. And three more hours here in Philly. @_@ Dad packs WAY too much "in case of flight trouble" time between his connections. Egad.

Anyway, I'll be back on my home computer and home internet in about four more hours. I know you'll be asleep by then, but I'll be here for you tomorrow! Yayness!

Do you have to start at the beginning and go in order, or can you just start where the writing feels best, and wants most to be written, and then go from there?

You could try to just work on something new, like a short oneshot or one of your mini-series that you have going on. I find that ideas come to me if I resume normal activities and "accidentally" forgot to write a new chapter/story. It works for me, but I can't write fanfics. T-T Another way would be to eat a cookie and maybe some expensive chocolate. <(^-^)> Good Luck!Ganbatte ne! (I'm suppose to be doing my Japanese write up right now, heh.)

The only thing I can give for now is a factor on my own list of whatever that tends inspires me. The problem is, I don't know how you inspire yourself in a situation like this, so I can't make any serious promises:

Try listening to music, and not just any kind: the ones that really shock you out of your indifference and makes you think, or at least gives you a feeling that you're not used to. I don't know what sort of music you usually listen to, so I can't just recommend any song right off the bat...but I hope that you could find something in there that might contribute to your thought process.

_{Don't worry about the ficlets. I'm going to be gone from livejournal for a while, so I probably wouldn't notice how long you would take to write it. ;)}
