Apparently it was a miracle I wasn't feeling any pain, because when my tooth decided to implode, leaving behind a ragged ring of tooth shards, the nerve was right in the middle of my brand-new HUGEASS CAVE OF DOOM. D:

And I should have gotten out the two wisdom teeth I've got left with the first two (bitches) because they're well on their way to a repeat of the "AWW COME ON WE ALWAYS KNEW YOU WANTED A CRATER IN YOUR MOUTH" incident. Second note to self: NEXT WEDNESDAY, 4 PM, DO NOT FORGET. That bitch is going down.

I'm so happy dad's got great health insurance; I should be paid back almost everything in the end. In the meantime, see you later, christmas money. =____=;;

*takes appointments with eye doctor, hormones doctor and womanly bits doctor* T_T Wanna bet in all that I'll have to have my blood taken too? I haaaaaaate that. I've got weird veins, they're very hard to see even under my pasty white skin, and roll under the needle instead of letting themselves be pierced and it always results in me looking like I tried to cheat my pimp of his rightful cut. Classy.



I wasn't in any pain during the whole process, though I'm still about as relaxed as an oak plank due to bracing for it for the last half-hour. I'm not in any pain right now. Because I can't feel the left side of my mouth. I hope Doc didn't lie to sound reassuring, with his "very mild pain might be possible, should go away fast". He's too pretty, gotta be a liar. D;

Bah. >:(

As to veins...well breath deeply and evenly and will them to the surface. I have weird veins too--I get stabbed easily usually, it's just that...

I feel it twice. WTF? I can feel it when they hit the vein, so I get the OW ARM! then I go OW VEIN! One needle, twice the fun.

All four of my wisdom teeth need to come out, apparently, and one is very close to the jaw nerve which means I could possible lose feeling in my lower jaw. :(

Also, I have shitty veins as well. My mom said that they could poke me twice and then I should call for her and have her put in the IV, or maybe we should just do a pick line at home before we come. But it's no fun when I don't get to freak the nurses out by dropping my BP really low whenever a needle gets close to my skin. XD

Wasn't really that bad. Especially since it was my fault.

See, I got a toothache, was too chicken to get it checked. Tooth got infected. I was so chicken I dealt with the pain for one month. Infection spread to three other molars. Lesson learn: DON'T BE A PUSSY ABOUT MEDICAL ISSUES.

Once I got sick and had to sit in that chair for nearly half and hour and it took four nurses before they managed to draw blood. They just kept jabbing me and jabbing me and jabbing me and at one point I went white and one of the nurses had to shove me over to get my head between my knees.

I was... 12. Something like that.

... and people wonder why I don't like doctors. >_>;;

I got all my wisdom teeth out already... I guess that's a good thing but I have a deep ingrained fear/hate of orthodontists. :<

Braces, night retainer, cavities, a gum graph (I have nightmares *shiver*), the whole wisdom teeth fiasco... It's all been one great big downhill (cliff?) tumble between me and my dentist.

Apparently when lj started changing their site they got stingy on CSS overrides and now only half of them work... Blargh, now I'm gonna have to play with the codes and find out what's breaking the thing. =_= Suuuuck.

Try to get them to do for you what they did for me--gas before the IV goes in. I have a million problems with needles, and had... oh, a number of problems with my wisdom teeth before they came out, including one root laying across my nerves.

I was so nervous that when they gave me the nitrous, I didn't feel it at all. But I went out just fine, and the IV was gone by the time I woke up.

o_o oh man, you're going to the dentist the same day as me. We can be in pain together~ (I have VERY bad gums, with "plaque buried miles below" according to my dentist. and cavities. I had my wisdom teeth out a few years ago, lemme tell you that Percoset and Laughing Gas are my BEST FRIENDS.)

Also, you have problems finding veins, just like my mom! she's been poked and dug at and she HAAAAAAAAAAAAATES it. one nurse was finally sensible and stuck a hot washcloth on her arm for a few minutes, the vein came up, and BAM mom has an IV in for her wrist surgery.

I hate getting blood drawn too! They always check my left arm, then my right, and then go back to the left, even though I told them in the first place that it's harder to find it on the right than on the left. Why would I lie about something like that? I'm trying to save us both some time, but no, they must always check, just in case one of my veins has decided to move around by an inch or so. e_e Lame.

WEH. I have wisdom teeth that are coming in... but I haven't told anyone because I'm afraid I'll have to have them taken out and that would be frightening. I'm a total wuss when it comes to dentists, which really sucks since I had braces for two years and those montly appointments almost always killed me. >_
