I love how most of the chapter passes in utter silence. This will be an awesome episode. *__* (if the goddamn anime ever makes it that far)

Hey, since his grandfather raised him already, it seems to hint that he has no mom either. 9_9 (unless Kishimoto forgot everything about mommy, of course. How fun it is that in every shounen EVER, the only important family, the one that really shapes the kid, is the dad. Mom's just there to cook and stuff. XP)

Oh well, he still has Kurenai. Sorta. Except they still LIVED IN SIN and all that. XD (if she's conveniently preggers, she's gonna lose all the sympathy points she gained with me, though. :p)

You know what made it even better? How the mourning clothes now have that flipped up collar (they didn't before, I think) and so the flipped up collar around Naruto REALLY looks like the flipped up collar on Yondaime's coat and... nnnnnnggggggh~! ♥

Hold on... Konohamaru called him "Uncle". Well, it was more like "Un-uncle Asuma!", but who's counting? You know what that means? Daddy's dead also! More angst!
I think I agree on all points but the 1st and the last. The next ones to kick it are his companions, Meogi and Udon. And who's to say that Kakashi's hitting on him? How do we know he's not hitting on Kyuubi?
This also means that I need to change my cosplay costume to reflect his off duty status. (He's not dead! No way is he dead! I liked him...)
Shikato seems to know more than he's letting on. Also, is Shikamaru becoming the new Asuma? Knives, smoking, STUDYING? This is not the lethargic 12 year old we had at the beginning of the series.
