Hm, the thing with Sasuke is that he didn't have the clearance to use his blades and thus chop people and little bits, and couldn't very well settle the melee with a good Katon; it would blow his cover long and hard. He was trying to keep from killing unnecessarily and saving as many people as possible; that included keeping track of naruto because he was too murderous to be careful. (yeah, right, sasuke, we believe you too.)

Hmm. I'll poke a bit at the action, but it's hard to keep the robotic style and still make it flow properly.
