Y'know, I've been reading fanfics for awhile now, and while I _always_ want the next chapter _now_, the wait tends to make the excitement that much better when the next chapter arrives.

(Unless, of course, the fic has gone dead and the author decides not to tell anyone.)

People need to show you and all fan-authors some dang respect. Demanding new works immediately, one right after another is just plain _wrong_.
