Riku vs. Sasuke (Probably the most I disagree on)
Sasuke is very...sulky. And emo. And generally pretty self-contained emotionally. With strangers, he will be court, sarcastic, etc., and with friends, at most he will crack a smile and loosen up a little bit. That whole clan annihilation probably left him with paranoia (Not trusting people), Survivor's Guilt, depression, ect. It really fucks with a person's personality.
Riku, on the other hand, had a perfectly normal childhood. When he is with strangers, his reactions are the same, but with different emotions being portrayed. While Sasuke has a combination of the 'I don't trust you'(Mostly) and 'I am better then you' airs, Riku just has the 'I am better then you' air. He trusts people, hell, he trusted Ansem. With his friends, he is a completely different person. He laughs, is cocky, but in a more joking way, plays around with Sora, flirts with Kairi, etc. In short, he is completely at ease with those he loves, talking freely, moving freely, and smiling freely.
Kairi vs. Sakura (Differences, but I'm pretty low on resources about Kairi's personality)
Sakura is book-smart, stubborn, aggressive, loyal, and shy around random strangers. Kairi (As someone at FFRants said) a Nice Girl, loyal, playful, aggressively defensive of those she loves (Sakura still hesitates before jumping in). Sakura is in love with Sasuke and doesn't know how she feels about Naruto. Kairi cherishes Sora and Riku with all her heart. In the beginning, Kairi lightly teases Sora for goofing off, but Sakura is downright mean. [/listing and maybe getting it wrong, but hopefully somewhat proving a point]
Sora vs. Naruto
Although both have this trusting air (Hi! I'm Captain Jack Sparrow, I don't know what to think of this Will guy, so I'll confide in Random Boy who has a duck and a dog-thing as friends!) and silly, I don't see much of a difference. Sora doesn't have a dark past, he is pretty smart in the school way. He also grew up with a family and good friends, which Naruto noticeably lacked. Naruto has aspirations and burdens he puts on himself, while Sora was sorta dragged into the whole Keyblade mess.
NaruSasuSaku(1) vs RiSoKai(2)
[Both are assuming the threesome has been established by the most likely course] (1) Would be built on teamwork, trust, and trying to put each-others emotions back in something that could be called order. (2) Would be built on friendship and finding each-other when they are separated by worlds, universes even.

And the Kairi and Sakura thing... Gotta agree with those two not being much alike other then the fact they both feel left by the boys in their respected groups and eventually fight for them at some point.
And Sora and Naruto... Yes, I agree with what you say but they both have the same main character trusting nature and I've-gotta-save-my-best-friend obsession. Both are determined and both have that same shit-eating smile. It's scary.
Also, on an almost total different thing, Sasuke and older Riku both have that seem look about them. Riku in KH:CoM isn't that emo, he's more convincing himself that no, he is not evil, he controls his own destiny. Another difference, Sasuke tries to convince himself that he is evil and can kill his best friend (But fails, and after being sad is angry) and he must kill his brother.
Naruto is like a fox and Sora is like a monkey. S'all I have ta say o.oa
I haven't gotten to the Riku part of KH2 (*cries*), so I haven't seen much of him. But that picture of him does remind of Sasuke

Well, Riku is all 'how can you forgive me after all I've done' and 'how can a face them' at the end and Sora just makes a funny face and answers 'like this'. >>;;

the boy in the middle is Sora, the girl is Kairi and the silverhaired bishounen boy is Riku. (not to be confused with Rikku, the wierd, overly genki girl in FFX and FFX2.
plus, UTADA HIKARU. *dies. a lot.* i adore her singing, and i can recognize her almost as fast as Megumi Hayashibara.

*briefly pauses, then chuckles* Going off a chain of discussion I noticed earlier (trying NOT to read anything, just glimpsed it in passing as I scrolled down): yeah, I noticed the parallels between Naruto/Sasuke/Sakura and Sora/Riku/Kairi, too. It amused me greatly.
...Just for fun, I'll inflict a random scene that occurred to me a while ago upon you. Bear in mind that this bunny bit well before Chain of Memories came out, so I really have no clue where it would fit in continuity or even if it would fit at all.
Situation: Kairi and Sora have been officially lovers for a while, but they both feel like there's something missing, and they both realize it's because they miss Riku (who still has not yet been found). Kairi comments, "But to want him here... that would just be CRUEL. It would be like... like... like me needing to stand aside while the two of you were together."
Sora turns bright red, but manages to mumble out, "Or vice versa..."
Kairi taps a finger on her chin, and her expression suddenly becomes surprised, then very speculative. "Although actually, come to think of it... if you boys wouldn't mind an audience..."
At which point Sora would probably faint. :-P

It's also at least half cut scenes. Normally that's hardly a bad thing by my estimation, but as I read somewhere, the whimsical Disney atmosphere is pretty jarring as a backdrop for the philosophical psychobabble of Square's plot. There were times when I started snickering because Donald and Goofy looked so out of place.

I don't post here very often simply because my fandom Naruto is best understood by everyone but me and I rarely am able to get my point across. I love KH enough to tryXD. FYI, Spelling and Grammar hate me.
I disagree with the assumptions that Nar/S/S=Sor/R/K. One word, Disney. Remember when Disney never focused on character development? Good times. Cinderella, Snow White, and Sleeping Beauty. Thats Kingdom Hearts. The characters were spat up by the generic machine. And unlike in Naruto there's no prior background to reason out the INSPERATIONAL!HERO BROODING!BFF and SUPPORTIVE!GIRLFRIEND.
Riku is nowhere near genius. The reason he went deeper into darkness the first time was less of his will and more because darkness was manipulating him. It was not a power trip but a "gee Kairi is heartless and the darkness is telling me that Sora doesn't care about me, Lets dive deeper cuz it tells me I can fix things!":B If Sasuke was in this situation I don't think he would be as likely to fall for tricks of the dark, especially with the seemingly healthy upbringing that Riku is graced with. (they never make mention of parents, the most you get is Soras mothers voice calling him for dinner and learning that Kairi washed up on shore)
I don't have much to say about Naruto's character, Sora is just off by enough to make me wince to compair them. That social retardation that we all love is missing. Simply all the things that keep Naruto from being incredibly one dimensional!
Kairi. She makes me want to punch Squaresoft. In the face. Here is my story:
I saw a spoiler icon of Kairi holding a keyblade in KH2. I rejoiced. In KH she did nothing but look dead and smile pretty. Don't get me wrong, I <3 her. She smiles real pretty.
But she's not very helpful. You go on a quest to find her, only to learn she hid in your chest. She split you and Riku up, made him feel like the only way things would go back to normal is if he forced himself into the darkness to the point where he becomes its bitch and isn't even kind enough to tell you where she is! You have to STAB yourself with a keyblade to get her to return to her own body.
So to return to my original point. Yay and verily. She would fight! She would show the world and her best friends just what she was made of!
....Or not. She gets captured. Again. She saves herself and meets Riku only to be surrounded by heartless. She's hiding behind Riku and he hands her one of HIS keyblades in case she MIGHT need to defend herself. She swings at one single pitiful little heartless and it dodges her.
I hope this is not considered character bashing because I simply adore Kairi (she smiles SO PRETTY)! In her defense she's not very enthused from the beginning about going out and seeing other words, Asking timidly "We can always come back right?" She just wants to stay with her friends and they keep LEAVING! I would just be sad if Sakura's character would turn out like this. At all. Sakura was shy when she was a child but I like to think it was protecting herself from bullies than lack of a sharp tongue. That Sakura would have turned out to be such a background support would make me quite sad.
Also, Sora is in the middle more because he's the one adventuring and trying to go and find both Kairi and Riku and bring them back together since they are both failing so miserably at doing it themselves. Kairi is the one who holds them together in this case. The reason why you split up in your search for Kairi is because Riku has a major superiority complex and since Sora isn't playing into the "RIKU YOU ARE MY GOD I WILL FOLLOW YOU ANYWHERE" thing ever since they left the island he shuts Sora out. Without Kairi they really can't seem to function with eachother. I absolutely LOVE the scene at the end of the game where its just Sora and Riku.
Riku: You know, I thought I was better than you.
Sora: You know what? I did too.
The plot is what you stay for. The blatant mary-sue that is Sora (you must admit it! Blatant self insertion! XD) and the beautifully twisting plot and unanswered questions and oh the graphics + fighting.

My Riku is similar to Sasuke approach (note I said borderline and less complexed) lies more in Riku is restless, seeks darkness for the power to do what he cannot (mainly protect his friends), becomes consumed by this darkness and overtaken by Ansem, turns against his best friend but manages to break away at the last second. Sora's whole "I will find Riku no matter what" also mirrors Naruto's search for Sasuke, only that he is seeking a boy who's already redeemed himself for the most part. I will not argue Sora is Naruto because their pasts are too different and Sora is much more accepting of what he's told than Naruto, who will defy based on his emotions. I just wanted to suggest there's enough there to make a good fusion-fic and that aspects of the SoraRikuKairi relationship do parallel that of SasuNaruSaku.
Entirely extraneous agreement.
It's also pretty much my entire opinion of her in KH2. In the first game, I had the same twitchy urge to shove her out of the fandom and replace her with a stronger female role. Other than that, I didn't really care about her. In the sequel, yeah, okay, she got a keyblade... (Temporarily? Huwha?) She had Riku talk to Sora... And... well...
She smiled prettily?
Okay, so her outfit was majorly kick ass. That's it. Nice eye candy, girl, but let's add some substance.

It really is. Also, the assessment by kiwi_socks (sorry, I still can't remember how to do the nifty LJ user link <.<) is pretty accurate in my opinion. A worthy note is that where Naruto is loud, brash, rude, and just generally forthcoming with his opinions whether people want to hear them or not, Sora is openly kind, polite, and pretty much pounces on any opportunity to help someone. The only exception is when they've hurt him or his friends. (Okay, so he's alike Naruto in that respect...) He's also easily embarassed. :D
Lastly, I have to say that I have the same issue with comment numbers, but it's not just comments - it's things in general. I was playing Age of Empires III earlier today, and I kept twitching and reallocating my settlers because they were gathering resources in numbers that were uneven or not divisable by five. How rude, ne? XD;;
