Kyuubi, on ramen:
Hmm. It was kind of like eating mice guts, in a way. Except without blood.
... ^_______^;;; aha. ehehehe. uhm. ...yeah. *slinks off*
edit: People who don't download the filler eps, but still want to see the Anko nightmare scene I was talking about at first -- the one that started the Sea Monster arc -- here it is, courtesy of

Son of Edit: the site tells me download exceeded, and doesn't let Saro open it at all, so if it doesn't work for you, here's a yousendit link :

"Likes cats on poor mice-es!"
(Anonymous) 2006-02-25 01:26 am (UTC)(link)*laughs* I can so very much see Kyuubi saying precisely that scarily enough. Except for one thing: I can also see Sasuke having something very snarky to say about Kyuubi, Mighty Hunter of Mice...
*chuckles and shakes her head*
By the by... this is off topic, but I have a request to make of you, and I don't like e-mailing people out of the blue.
Do you remember that discussion I had with you about Naruto getting scolded for using Rasengan on Sasuke at the hospital (http://askerian.livejournal.com/213740.html?thread=3290604#t3290604)?
Erm... yeah. As it happens... I'm writing a paper for a class where that discussion would help me illustrate a point I'm making (I know, I know, I was stunned when I realized that, too...), so I was wondering if you'd let me cite it? *does the big cute eyes*
In case you're curious, it's just a paper for a literary criticism class; I'm writing about escapism. (Dammit, I WILL get those academics to see that escapism is a good thing! ...okay, I'll get off my soapbox now. :-P)

Re: "Likes cats on poor mice-es!"
(Anonymous) 2006-02-25 03:06 am (UTC)(link)The paper assignment is just about 'your own personal reading style,' and since I'm a die-hard escapist reader, I decided to go "Ready the Geekiness and Full Speed Ahead!" :-P Heh. If nothing else, this is by far the most entertaining paper I've done for the blasted class. (...Grrr. No like literary criticism. Wouldn't even have taken the damn thing if it wasn't required for language majors, for whatever insane reason.)
As for what I'm using the conversation for, I'm pointing out that escapism has a creative aspect. One of the really basic ways that this comes into play is that when something happens 'off-screen,' your imagination fills it in so that it's as 'real' to you as what's actually written. I thought the little chat about 'but they didn't show it happening' 'that doesn't mean it didn't happen!' would be an interesting illustration.
...Besides. I was amused. It's not every day you get to cite LJ conversations in a college-level paper. :-P

'Ew.'
/Squeamish./
'Mice hunter,' Naruto taunted.
Kyuubi growled. /Mice fucker./
'I'll tell Sasuke and Sakura that they're mice.'
/With the size of your cock, they'd get more out of it if they were./
'... Hey! I'm not THAT small, bastard. Besides, you're using it too, at the moment.'
/I use it better./ He missed his original body, though. Naruto's human shape was awkward, and his bare skin repulsive. And the way only the very tip of his skin pulled back... Hn. How was he supposed to feel anything? Then of course there was the lack of knot...
'...could you please stop sharing now yeah okay thanks.'
((i will never be able to use this icon the same way ever again.))
