how about something like "carbon copy"? Gets across both the mechanical duplication and the carbon-based life-form insinuations, along with "coal-black"...

ohh. hmmmm. I think it would be more appropriate if he interacted with more than just itachi, but it's neat too. thanks ^__^ I like carbon copy though -- especially since i used it in the fic (and didn't remember XD; *sucks*)
