*plays with her LJ* Hmm. Not sure I entirely like the colors, but I do like the style -- it's neat to be able to see your own icon in a post. I don't like the way the Tags thinger is stuck to the bottom of the entry, though, but I don't know how to fix that, or if it's even fixable. TT_TT *le sigh*

I like the new look, it's very easy on the eyes (at least on my screen), colour and style-wise. :D

The tags are part of all entry options--I even have it, and I use S1--but if you don't type anything in the slot then it shouldn't show up in the entries proper.

no, it doesn't show up when I don't use it, but I do use the tags feature often and I don't like it when it's the same font and stuck to the bottom of the entry like that ;__;

Ahh. I never knew you used tags--there's no way to remove them from the bottom of the entry if you use them, then. At least not that I know of. You could try the FAQ?

there's no tag on this entry or the previous ones, just check down a bit? they're hard to notice anyway because they're stuck to the entry itself. T_T

OK, I got it. But how far down do you want the tags?

I fiddled with my layout so it's like yours, but with the tags moved down. Take a look (http://finnigan-geist.livejournal.com/). The first entry you see should have the tags "another example, example entry tag." Do you want your entry tags down farther than that, or does it look good the way it is?

Oh, also, I lied again because you do use S2. BUT THAT'S OK, because while that made it trickier for me to figure out what the HELL I was doing, it's easier for you to apply to your LJ. :)

OMG IT IS PERFECTLY PERFECT. EXPLAIN IT TO ME, MASTER.

OK, this is going to be bit complicated, but don't be nervous. I'll take you through it as simply as I can.

Go to your advanced customizations (http://www.livejournal.com/customize/advanced/index.bml) page.

Click "Your Layers"

Down at the bottom, under "Create layout-specific layer," select "Theme" under Type and "Flexible Squares" under layout, then hit "create."

Now there should be a layer there, under the heading "Child of layer 4472608: Flexible Squares." Under "actions," you can edit or delete the layer. Click "edit."

At the top of the box, it'll say
layerinfo "type" = "theme";
layerinfo "name" = "";

OK. So. Now what you need to do is paste your style sheet in the box. I uploaded your stylesheet to the internet because it's waaaay too big to put in a comment.

Copy all the text on that page and paste it in the box, under the two layerinfo lines. Click "Save & Compile" (at the top of your screen). It should think for a moment and then, at the bottom, tell you that it was "Compiled with no errors." If there were errors, let me know! It won't work (buh) if there were.

If that went off without a hitch, you now need to go to your Styles (http://www.livejournal.com/customize/advanced/styles.bml) page. The style you're using will be in bold. Click "edit."

Now, under the dropdown box for "theme," select the number of the layer you just created. [It should be the ONLY layer you've created, I assume (:P). If this part's confusing, I'll explain better, but for now, I'm hoping this is OK.]

Click "Save changes"

Check your LJ. You should have better entry tags!

Noting that I have the same style as you do, I definitely understand the hatred of the tags-in-entry thing. T_T I love everything else about this style, except that. bah. If there is some way to fix it, I have yet to find it, unfortunately.
