teamwork -- baby drabble again.

This time for joisbishmyoga, who requested Baby's first babysitter.



"I said I'd do it. No need to trouble yourself, Iruka-sensei, I'm sure you get tired easily now, what with all your students demanding so much time -- and don't you have essays to grade tomorrow anyway?"

Falsely concerned tone, parried with falsely grateful voice.

"Thank you for your worry, Ino-kun, but as a matter of fact this week was dedicated to practical tests. And I have lots of experience with children..."

"But babies and pre-teens are probably very different..."

"Not so much, I assure you, but it's nice of you to worry."

Harried sigh.

"Sakura-chan, your mom called, she says to drop the baby at her place before we go, and don't forget a ton of baby stuff I'm not even sure we own in the first place."

Outrage.

"What? You asked your mother already, forehead-girl?"

Eyes rolling.

"No, I didn't actually, I -- ohh, shush, baby, shush..."

Cooing.

"Baby wants auntie Ino, don't you? Oh, yes you do..."

"Ow."

Return of the false politeness.

"No, let go of Iruka-sensei's ponytail, love, you're hurting him..."

"Ahh, if that child wants to come with me, I see no problem, really..."

Heavy sigh.

"Hinata? It's Naruto. Listen, are you busy tonight? I have something to ask you..."

I think Iruka calls Sakura Sakura-kun in canon. As far as I know (and I could be wrong -- Mikke?) that's not because he thinks she's a guy; that's because he acknowledges that she's young and way under him in hierarchy, but still not intimately close, like family or lovers would be. So it wouldn't be out of place for student/teacher relationship. That was today's lesson in fangirl japanese. yay. XD

NaruSasu through Sakura's eyes. It's a short fic, but I love how it manages to say so much in so little words; just a few understated observations and comments and yet -- ahhh ;_; anyway, i lovelovelove. You read.

Little-Joo actually means to format dialogues that way, people. It is her way, and you get used to it. personally i like it. it's just so her. XD *loves on*

And it sounds like sakura's mom finally comes around, eventually, which is good... after all, this baby, regardless of gender, is clearly going to be the most darling wonderful thing ever born to man, and it should start off right at the beginning with everyone knowing it, right?

I speak weird. XPP Anyway, he calls Sakura 'kun' and Sasuke 'kun' but I don't think he does that with Naruto- weird- but Itachi has this odd obsession with calling him kun that I will never understand but Itachi is weird anyway.

Sasuke calls Kakashi sensei. The rest can all die for him XD Mm.

Gwuh, baby drabbles... Why do I have a classic 'diaper-changing' mental images? XD Gah, Sasuke changing diapers. Why does that sound appealing? :3

2)the terrible twos--"THAT IS NOT A TOY!!!"
3)Family picnic? The *entire* family--including the willing babysitters?
4)Parents learning to care for the baby--how the daddies deal with who has to change diapers, clean bottles, that kinda thing?

yeah,kakashi always seems to keep his distance with naruto. and akura too, though he pretends a bit more. he only ever sees sasuke for real. T_T

itachi and oro make me feel Pervy Vibes whenever they call sasuke or naruto -kun. it's like, "come a little closer, i swear i'm friendly..." when you KNOW they're not. *shudders*

the diapers thing will happen in teamwork. :p
