WOW. this fic is neji/kankurou, and it actually works somewhat O_o Okay, it has some plot, and the study of the settings (the Sand village) and the way the hierarchy with kankuro's family works alone deserve a read. It also acknowledges that it's crack by having them both aware that they never even talked to each other before; it's not a OMG IVE BEEN IN LOVE WITH HIM ALL ALONG fic, thank god.
As for Kankuro, never paid attention that closely to him, and he's not a central character in the manga (his brother always steals the show), but it does sound like him (also, he's funny. XD). Neji is SPOT-ON. He acts like a stuck-up, irritating prick, angsts in secret and thinks about what Naruto would do to better himself -- when he remembers that he actually wants to change. He's not made perfect by insisting on his tragic qualities (of which he has loads); the tragedy of his situation is understated, which makes it all the more effective.
Anyway, i started reading because I was bored as hell, and ended up finding a more than decent fic. I'm not a new fan of the pairing! XD but heh, it was very entertaining, and interesting, and i'm always a sucker for fics that explore the Sand village dynamics, so it made me happy.

Ok, I'm admitting it shamelessly - I gave myself THE MISSION to make you write some GW fanfics since you didn't do it in ages or more.

nagging persisting molesting annoyingbegging you to give me more of Garou or Cloneness or whatever you want from GW fandom. *best pleading starved puppy eyes with great shining tears*To be honest I like your Naruto fanfics too, but I'm starved for five hot, handsome, dangerous boys and complicated interactions between them.

XD nah, more seriously. I know i need to work on GW, and I would, IF THE NARUTO BUNNIES WOULD LEAVE ME ALONE T_T but they don't, they're bleeding me dry aaaaargh x_x
Anyway, i'll try. But the GW boys are fast losing any hold over me (can't even feel them anymore), so that's all i can promise. ;_;
