Furries... AGAIN...

Heero was so furious, he was trembling... and he realized that Wufei's face had been in range for a snap of fangs only when the man leaned back, looking entirely too smug. He hissed and furiously turned his face away. He refused to play Wufei's little games any longer.

Wufei tried to make him respond by caressing his body with his tentacles, but apart from a barely perceptible shiver, Heero didn't move; and his words seemed to fall on deaf ears.

"You're not much fun," Wufei commented after a while. "I think I will leave you here, since you don't seem to want my company."

Heero resisted the temptation to give him a smug smirk and kept on staring blankly at him.

Stepping...well, slithering back, Wufei turned away and glanced toward his bed, where the Feline was sprawled amid the torn up silk covers and his glorious cascade of hair.

"Duo is much more amusing. Much more responsive..."

Heero felt his blood turn to ice.

"Leave him alone," he growled warningly, his voice betraying his sudden panic. "Don't you dare touch him."

Wufei turned toward him and stared in silence, unreadable, for such a long time that Heero began to feel ill at ease. His eyes were entirely black, two voids, two wells of darkness, and suddenly it felt like there wasn't an ounce of humanity behind.

"Don't you hurt him, or I'll kill you!"

Wufei's eyes didn't shift, still as dead as before. "How?" he asked coldly. "You're my prisoner. Helpless to even save yourself, should I chose to do anything to you. And yet you're threatening me?"

Heero hissed, but didn't answer in words. He was afraid that Wufei would hurt Duo if he provoked him again, just to prove that he could. Fighting and hurling insults was fine as long as the only one endangered by his actions was him, but when his protege was on the line, it was quite different.

"I could do anything to you. Anything."

Heero knew that, and, furious but unable to do anything about it, he looked away, for the first time breaking the contest of wills first.

"Yet I will not, because you are... Boring. But Duo is not."

"You said that he could rest!!" Heero protested.

"Didn't he?"

"Not enough!!"

The Lupine hated himself for the barely perceptible pleading note in his voice.

"I can always verify..."

"No! NO!!" Heero howled, thrashing wildly in the restrains. "Leave him alone!"

This time the pleading was far from discreet. His voice betrayed more than a hint of despair and panic, and his expression... Wufei turned slowly to face him once again, looking him up and down, an eyebrow elegantly arched.

"Did you change your mind? Are you willing to play, now? How strange..." Wufei mused, one of his clawed fingers tapping at his chin wonderingly.

The Lupine's body was trembling with tension, and the dragon half expected his muscles to simply snap. He slid closer, looking down on the wolf, but for once Heero didn't lift his chin in defiance to meet his stare.

Taking a gamble, the dragon raised his hand and caught his captive's chin to force him to look at him. Heero tensed and resisted, but finally he relented and let his face be guided toward Wufei, not even trying to bite. His lashes were lowered, shadowing his so expressive eyes.

He was shaking with tenseness under Wufei's hand, but he didn't try to get away, only some small, aborted instinctive reactions when the dragon leaned over him and lifted his chin so that the wolf looked up toward him.

Wufei approached his face, slowly, noting carefully if the chains had enough slack that Heero would be able to bite at his neck if ever he was acting, but it looked safe, and he rally didn't think the wolf able to play along that well.

He tipped his head back again, until he was at a comfortable angle, and took yet another gamble, pressing his lips over Heero's.

The Canine froze totally, his eyes going briefly wide, and his jaws clenched under Wufei's hand, but he didn't bite.

"Open your mouth to me," Wufei whispered harshly, staring hard into his eyes.

Heero's eyes closed completely, and he unclenched his jaws, but not before Wufei could catch a glimpse of the tears of humiliation pooling under his eyelashes. The dragon's tongue plunged in the Lupine's mouth, exploring with insistence, as if he owned it –and he could as well have, for all the resistance Heero was offering him.

His unresponsiveness was even less amusing than his snarling before, the dragon thought with disappointment.

He leaned back, abandoning Heero's lips, and stared hard into his eyes for a long time.

"I've been wondering what you did to him since I met you, you know. You're rude, mostly silent, aggressive, your answers are not particularly intelligent-- " Heero snarled, he couldn't help it-- "My point exactly. You marked him as a slave when he's the wildest spirit I've encountered in a long time; he couldn't have taken it well. And still, he was waiting for you to come rescue him with a surprising faith. I really wondered why."

His hand unclenched from around Heero's jaw and slowly slid away, the tip of his claws caressing his skin.

"But you would be willing to endure things for him, that you would die before enduring for yourself. That I can admire."

He stepped back, looking totally serious.

"I will not harm Duo, not now, not ever. That has nothing to do with you. You can do anything, nothing of what you do will have repercussions on him, and the contrary is also true. I do not want to hurt him. I don't feel any pleasure in harming him. I don't feel any in harming you either, by the way. You don't have to be afraid for Duo; he's not in any danger from me. Understand me?"

Heero's eyes went wide. "But you said... You said..."

Wufei smirked smugly. "Did I?"

Gah! Wu is so evil! He's totally mindfucking Heero... uhm, in the good way not the squicky way. >_<;; And yeah, Heero's way to tense to make rabid weaseling any fun. Love the protectiveness!
