Worldbuilding note that isn't likely to make it into story: Nanna is too old to have puppies herself, but because they're more sapient than normal wolves that doesn't count for nearly as much to bondwolves as her ability to lead the pack does. Nanna is still the queenwolf; her daughters are now the ones who have puppies (and feed them before they're weaned) but she's the authority-figure in the pups' lives.
...I might, possibly, have Karkat's partner grow up to be a queenwolf. Hmmm. (Queenwolf looking for quadrants!)
(but jane, jake and roxy still get to join eventually, right? .___. though yes moar trolls, just the idea is gleefully hilarious.) I don't have a big story plan here; I've got this section written, and meeting-with-Nepeta being planned, and vague ideas about meeting-with-Gamzee. If (big if) I write the other three joining, it'll come after those.
