the thing is that SOLDIER basically already IS a pack, and that... what do they need wolves for, when they can jump buildings and break through walls unharmed and all sorts of crazy stuff? when they have Sense materia and enhanced senses and everything else? wolves are redundant and tacked on. ;__;
