So the last couple of chapters have been pretty much boring fight scenes with Bee&Naruto VS Tobidara&TheZombietails. Yawn.
And then last chapter ended with Kakashi and Gai's surprise!entrance! Which is always cool, I guess, except while I like them I don't *love* them, so it was a bit *yawn* anyway, so I went into this week's chapter not hoping for much...

The first page is a color spread of two panels of random breaking stuff, and then a spiffy camera angle of Sasuke sheathing his sword again like a badass, while the weirdass ribcage entrance to Tobidara's hideout crumbles behind him. Idk why he couldn't just pick the lock or something, guess he just felt like being all "HEY GUYS IM BACK LOOK AT ME", the little attention whore, but I'm not complaining. XD
"SASUKE ENTERS THE BATTLEFIELD." yessssssssssssssss.
That was false advertising, btw, because this is the only page he appears on this week. But page two...! :D

Juugo and Suigetsu, strolling through the forest, lalalala. :D ♥ Juugo is wondering if Sasuke and Karin are okay, n'awww!
Suigetsu is such an ass. XD "Even if Karin and Sasuke are alive and well, do you think there's going to be a joyous reunion when we reunite?" => aw come on man, you guys are TEAMMATES. I guess that really IS a Leaf thing to emphasize, huh. You... Mist guy you. XD
"Listen carefully. Karin and Sasuke just want to get a little makeout time in... which means we've been in their way." => oh god XDDDDD wait, wait, does he truly think Sasuke reciprocates, or is he just being a troll? I mean okay he and Karin never did get along, so it was easy to see his interruption in that hideout when they met Karin as deliberate, but ... did he cockblock BOTH of them deliberately??? XD AWESOME.
"I see... so what should we do, keep gathering the katanas?" => aww Juugo still wants to do team things with Suigetsu.
"... We're gonna keep getting in their way, of course. That's my second favorite thing to do after hunting for katanas. Let's go check Orochimaru's hideout first!" => oh my god Suigetsu you are such a shameless troll. I love you so hardcore. XDDD
Kinda wondering what he'll think/feel/do when he learns that Sasuke tried to kill Karin, because atm while he does like to antagonize them he still seems to somewhat accept that they're supposed to work together. He hasn't got the memo that Sasuke ditched them yet. ;^; (that or he's using the time before Juugo wises up and realizes that the guy he gave his personal loyalty to isn't coming back. D: )
Back to Naruto & Bee & Kakashi & Gai & Tobidara... blahblah more battle things ensue, I think they'll be less boring once animated. I hope.
Tobidara is using pointy chains to control the beasts that look like Kushina used to, maybe it's not specific to her or maybe he stole her ability... hmmm. The beasts are being all hard to control yadda yadda...

And Sasuke. I loved that the first page was Sasuke again, finally, though like you said, that statement was totally false advertising for now.
Hm... In the translation I read, Suigetsu was more saying that it was Karin who wanted to get Sasuke alone. Let me find the direct quote: "You see, Karin just wants to seduce Sasuke. ...That means that we are in her way." So, I guess it's a matter of interpretation? But yes, I also love the troll-ness of Suigetsu's answer to what they're going to do next XD
And does this mean that Suigetsu and Juugo are going to run into Kabuto and Itachi? Or is Orochimaru's lair empty now?

To be honest I got mixed feelingsthe about the tailed beasts' past. I always thought of them as evil, immortal entities without a human personality; entities that materialized whenever human hatred become too much etc. etc. so they didn't even exist in some eras (unless that's what humans believe, when actually the beasts were somewhere else and simply didn't show up/weren't summoned.) But now they're acquiring personality, they're changing and it didn't even take a lifespan of a host (Naruto is barely 17!). They remind me of Naruto's toads: big, powerful, talking(ok,telepathing) animals. I'm not sure how Kishimoto will tackle this without ruining it.
On the other hand, Kyuubi willingly cooperating with Naruto, I look forward to it. I wouldn't dream of reading it in this manga! For that alone, I can close an eye or two, yes. :DDD
