Ah, the most common problem in fanfiction - after OOC/weird views on characters/ignoring canon. Which you don't usually do. Well, it's always better to read something with a nice idea behind it (and fill in with your own headcanon for it) than something that leaves you either screaming or depressed at the utter lack of... everything that makes a fic good.

Oh, oops, sorry; rant time over. ;; It just seems to me there are fewer and fewer good fics going around.

I didn't think I did, to be honest, but I guess it's pretty bad by now. Illness->lack of sleep->weaker immune system->sick again and so on. Not all of it is actually getting sick, sometimes I just get hit by bad luck and get complications from normal operations.
