XD I was kinda thinking that she chose Nanashi when she had been meant for the original Barton all along; I don't think if she had bonded with Trowa first that she would have ever wanted anyone else, or that even if he died soon after he fed and named her that she would ever grow to have a close bond with her next rider.

But that makes things a bit hard to mesh with how original Trowa died because he saw they were about to betray the original operation meteor plan. He'd be more likely to get pissed off at Heavyarms for not choosing him and messing with the plan (and then get offed to protect her), and not because the scientists/people all around were conspiring against his family's plot and he found out. Unless they arranged for Heavyarms to hatch when he wasn't here and Nanashi was, and he found THAT out, but. Argh. I can't figure it out.
