If you have, like, a large box or a large laundry basket, you can put them in the basket, then put them in their pen/bed area/whatever. I don't have puppy experience, but that's what my cousins did when they had to be puppy tenders one year.

At least, I think they're my cousins. We're related several generations back, but we keep in contact, swap kids for the summer, etc.
