It's funny because I was reading a book today - the selfish pig's guide to caring - and it totally applies here - giving up your life to look after vulnerable people, and the cycle of anger and guilt that can cause, and how it doesn't make you a bad person to feel guilt and anger because even though you feel that way you're still making that sacrifice.
